6 puppies! All before bedtime. What a beautiful thing!
However, this was one of the most chaotic whelpings. Puppy number 1 was born while we were at the playground. I watched on the camera and rushed home! Then, the evening family chaos just piled on. I made hot dogs and French fries and spelled out lists all while assisting Nutella whelp 6 puppies in record speed because my kids are simply unbothered 🤣. We all lived to tell about it!

Abby has a belly full of babies!! We will spend this weeks just helping her stay comfortable and giving her lots of love ❤️. I can’t wait to be posting lots of cute babies soon!!

Some pictures of Dolly’s medium puppies today.
Every litter is just a little different when it comes to development and showing personality.
There are many things that factor in, mothering is one of them. With this litter, their mom has been extremely attentive ( a bit of a helicopter mom for lack of a better term.) 🙂
Although this is great, the downside is that they want to nurse all the time, because she lets them, and she’s been a bit more protective about others approaching them. So I’ve had to be intentional about letting her go outside or having a family member distract her upstairs so that I can work on socializing the puppies.
Today I gave them their kibble in the snuggle mat for an enrichment experience and some scent work.
They also had some supervised play with the other litter. Although they are only 12 days apart, I have to be careful that the older pups are not too rough with the younger ones who are a little more cautious at this stage.
These are just some of the ways we are responsibility raising healthy, confident puppies.

EXPECTED MEDIUM AND MINI LITTER ‼️‼️

PENNY and MAX are due February 2nd, 2025!
These puppies will go home at the end of March, just in time for Spring.

I’ve gotten great feedbacks from families that have puppies from Penny’s last litter. They are expected to be medium size, approximately 35-45 pounds and are some of the most calm tempered litters we’ve ever had! Several of them are local and I see them often. These puppies would be perfect for service training or for a family!!!

NELLY AND ADAM

Penny should be in heat anytime now and we expect puppies to go home early in mid April. They will be minis, although potentially micros!! These means approximately 14-20 pounds and just adorable 🥰.

🎉 My sweet Spice Litter is now six weeks old. Oh my, how time is flying by! These puppies are now going in and out through our doggie door to go outside and potty. They are eating 3 to 4 meals a day and still nursing on mom. Mama Cece is being wonderful with them and spends lots of time playing with them, which makes me so happy! Here are some pictures from our last photo shoot.
