Pups..Pools..Place
Busy day yesterday! Teddy, Pika, and Stella had a field trip to Academy! ….Pika and Stella did not go inside but we sat by the doors in the shade working on engagement and desensitization. These energetic girlies will work their way into handling busy field trips!
Everyone had some pool time and fun training sessions!
Busy morning! Private lesson with Summer and Sailor at Lowes. Albie and Arlo worked on public manners for their refresher field trip!
Stella and Pika are really picking up on their new skills and their duration with behaviors. They both are focusing on holding downs, heeling, and E-collar conditioning today!
Gracie has had a few river trips and is learning to trust the jacket!!
Photo dump of the last few days
Man oh Man I have been slacking on introducing these new kiddos!!
We have Stella (boxer) and Pika (black lab mix) joining us from the STL area for a 4 week board and train!!
They are both working on basic obedience, E-collar conditioning, manners with people and dogs, jumping, and overall reelijg in their crazy girl energy.
Bothnof these girls have some SERIOUS energy and have already been on field trips to show me what I am dealing with! And they are both some serious Characters!! BUT…..I am excited to show you their progress!!
I am just the hooman that fills the pool for them every few hours 🤣
Summer goals are to be as unbothered by life as Lou is… 😂😂
Absolutely pouring down rain so everyone is getting some Antler time
Ol’Gracie girl never fails to strike a pose that cracks me up 😂😂
Lily working on her summer bod and Z relaxing.
This is so much more than Lily just doing a jump. It is that a few weeks ago any sort of thing she thought of as “pressure” or scary she would shut down. It took a while to build engagment and trust. She hated big dogs and now she is learning to relax around them. She is having fun and doing some tricks off leash in a relaxed mindset.
Happy memorial day!! We had to do our heelin at Lowes today because these little ladies do NOT tolerate this heat well. First time they worked together and it was by no means perfect but they did really good and tried to figure out their positioning.
Avoided storms, worked on duration with all behaviors today, and sharpening everything up for Lily and Gracie. I Slacked on videos/photos because I felt like I was constantly racing against the storms and rotations 😂.
It is crunch tome for Lily and Gracie! They both are really focusing on tightening up their heel command and down stays!
Atleast someome ended up using it 😂😂
Friday evening fun! Man oh man are these guys sleepy today! Getting ready for last let outs and we will all sleep good!
Gracie girl kicken off the Holiday weekend.
Did a little cruising around the Finley today. Worked on recalls, unders, heeling, and some good old exploring. I thought FORSURE Zues would like the water…
NOPE 😂. These 3 were not fans lol. They enjoyed watching kayakers though! Got a puppy pool for them, we will see if they like this more 😂
When you have some of the coolest clients that give your dogs the biggest antlers!!!
Lowes field trip for Gracie and Lil.
Gracie was carried both inside and on the way out so she was not too tuckered to train inside 😂. She had to do all of her outside sessions this morning and we will finish outside sessions once the sun starts to go down lol. BUT this princess has no issues doing everything inside lol.
Lily has really come out of her shell and loves earning praise and treats. The place on the cart startled her at first but whenever she hopped off she immediately got back on and fixed it. Lily is a dog who was always very over stimulated in public and did not want to engage. To see her offering behaviors was great!
When someone asks me if I want snacks
Cicada noises 10/10
Lily rolls 10/10

Gracie Girl at Basspro. It was a busier afternoon and she was a wee bit over stimulated but she did everything that was asked of her and I rewarded that girl like crazy!
3 weeks ago I could not imagine trusting her off-leash. In the beginning it seems like that with every dog. But with the help of her E-collar, basic obedience, and trusting the process this is how we end our evenings. We do formal sessions and this took a lot of time to get here but at the end of the day I want the dogs to have fun and do “real life” sessions. Very formal training is not real life all day everyday for 90% of people. Gracie checks in and if she gets too far she is recalled. Happy wagging tail and a happy dog.
It was adorable seeing how much fun derby had at the Finley today!! I ended up having to ditch the treat pouch and gear on the bank today to get in further with him so he could live his best life
All sessions should be fun! He is so stinkin funny and learning quickly that good behaviors get him love and treats!
1 week in. Derby on his evening walk. I typically end the afternoons with a casual walk around the property and throwing in some recalls. These sessions are to let him have a little more fun while still controlled. It also helps all the dogs get a little extra tired before bed time 😄 He is quickly learning to check in and appreciate more freedom. This is a dog a week ago had very little engagement and was over stimulated by everything. I am very happy with his progress so far and the relationship we are building!!
Video dump of what we have been up to! •Arlo and Roux are working on obedience together. You can see their first session of them heeling together and I want to show younthe progress they have made this evening! •Salem is a totally different doggo (in a good way) he is playing with his friends and heels so nicely out in public! Before ya’ll come for me for how dirty he looked at lowes he had a bath that morning then IMMEDIATELY rolled in dirt afterwards 😂 🚨🚨There is a last minute April spot open. This does apply to my Festus area friends and surrounding areas because I will be there next week. We just have to make sure all of the paper work and vet records are in order. Pm the page to get info!! 🐶The board and train program is an intense bootcamp for the kiddos that consists of 3-4weeks. Every day the dogs have multiple 1x1 training sessions and as training progresses we add in group sessions as well. The dogs get group play and individual play time. Field trips are incorporated multiple times a week if not every day. Field trips can be obedience/socialization at parks, Lowes, BassPro, Patios, and walking in neighborhoods. After their program the owners get multiple lessons to make sure they are comfortable handling their dog🐶 ‼️training your pup is a lifetime commitment of consistency but it should be FUN! Owners need to be dedicated and taken the program serious. 🐶PM me if you would like to get your pup started in the right direction‼️
I just love that this big guy is having fun in public and not on edge. Such a transformation already!
Little dump of some things I forgot to post! Big park field trip planned today! I will be sure to post more this evening! •Ralphie and Mille will be going home this week just fine tuning small things •Arlo is doing great with his recall and neutrality, in-home manners, nails being done, impulse control with food, we are really focusing on his duration with behaviors and sharpening it all up •Salem is doing much better with duration, jumping up, recall, and holding place. Today I am going to focus on heeling around other people and dogs more 🐶There is still April availability for board and trains! Pm the page to get more info!🐶
