All packed and ready to go to PetQuest! ❤️🐾✂️ So excited to be competing in the Rescue Round-Up! My all time favorite comp!

As a friendly reminder, I’ll be out of the shop till Monday. If anyone needs to get ahold of me about appointments or anything leave a vm, message, or text. I will respond as time permits.

I will be focusing on classes and competition this weekend, but I’ll be stopping by the Sharp Edges booth when I can! I can’t wait to see y’all!

My all time favorite rescue is opening their very own thrift store, with proceeds going towards the pups! ✂️❤️🐾

I love thrift shopping and I’m going to love it even more knowing that my shopping habit will help the pups in need!

What a fun adventure with this team of volunteers!!! Getting everything ready for you AND your dog to come shop till ya drop! Opening SOON!

Bitsy and I competed last weekend in the Vanity Furniture grooming competition. The competition is called a rescue round up. The dogs all came from a shelter and groomers are assigned a dog to groom. The point to this is to help shelter dogs look their best, in turn increasing their chances of finding their forever home.

Miss Bitsy tore at my heart strings. She really is a very sweet loving dog. She was an absolute love bug. We have two hours, to bathe and groom the pups. I was done with Bitsy in about an hour, so after we literally just sat there and cuddled on the floor together.

Please please please consider Bitsy if you’re looking to add to your family.

I had the privilege to compete at this years Vanity Fur Expo and Grooming Competition! Thank you Sharp Edges for making sure I had everything I needed!

I had so much fun today with Bitsy! She is soooo sweet! She was hugging me and giving me kisses the whole time!! She is available for adoption at TAPS Pekin, IL! Thank you Bear's Bites Foundation for letting me work with Bitsy today!

Oh and we got second place!!

A few years ago a friend of a friend contacted me about grooming their giant, goofball of a pittie. I was kinda slowing down on taking new large clients, but agreed since it was a friend of a friend. I went ahead and got this pup scheduled for a bath and deshed.

Boy oh boy, did this pup have some energy! He came in tail wagging, just the happiest boy ever. Jude quickly became a shop favorite. He was always so sweet and loved coming in to see us! No matter who I had working for me, they always LOVED Jude! Him and his mom would come in randomly just to say hi or update us on one of his many adventures with his momma.

In the summer of 2022, Jude was diagnosed with cancer. We were all shocked, he was still pretty young and full of life. Jude fought very hard, but in the end when the pain became too much, his momma made the decision to help him cross the rainbow bridge.

I miss seeing Jude on my schedule and I know the girls who used to work for me miss him too! He will always be missed here at Pet-A-Groom.

In loving memory of Jude, Jude’s momma paid for someone’s groom this Holiday Season.

Miss Hazel was the recipient of Jude’s Groom this year.

Thank you Amanda Sharpe for letting us be apart of Jude’s life and for honoring his memory in this way.

I wanted to get on here and say Congratulations to Aubrey and Marissa with their Grand Opening today at Bob's Tails new location in Riverton!

I am so very proud of you Aubs! It’s been so amazing to watch you grow as a groomer and business owner! I remember you coming in to help me bathe when I was able to start grooming again from the COVID lockdowns, you came in and was like I want to be a groomer, I want to have my own shop, I want to go all the way… three years later here you are! You have the drive to succeed, I wish you all the success in the world! You are an amazing groomer and an amazing business owner!

I am so grateful that Aubs has you, Marissa, in her life to help her achieve her goals. All the work your did at Bobs Tails is absolutely stunning!

We are still without power. I did receive a text from Ameren that they estimate it’ll be back on Sunday. So, no power for tomorrow.

Luckily, by bestie Ashley Renae Sims with Ashley's At Home Grooming, is going to let me use her space tomorrow so I don’t get so far behind!! Seriously cannot thank her enough!!

I haven’t made calls yet to reschedule anyone, but will be doing so soon.

It was so awesome to meet with so many amazing groomers! 🐾✂️❤️ Even got to meet one of my favorite TicTok queens Blackdogomaha! I may or may not, have had a fan girl moment lol!! 💚

I was able to sell one of my all time favorite line of shears, Groomer Supply House Shears. It’s what I use on so many of your pets! ❤️💎✂️
