Pet-A-Groom is a full service dog grooming shop on Jefferson Ave in Springfield, Il. In addition to basic grooming services, like baths and haircuts, we offer medicated shampoo & conditioning treatments, nail grinding, and teeth brushing! We groom your pet to your specifications each time to make sure you and your pet are as happy as possible with their groom. We take time to listen to your reques

ts and we won't do anything that puts your dog in distress. We care about your pet's well-being and do everything we can to ensure their comfort. At Pet-A-Groom, we want your pet to be as comfortable with us as they are at home, so all pets are kept separated from one another.

Hey Pet-A- Groom Family,

We will be closed today 6/11/26. As most of you probably know by now, the APL was hit hard with last night storms. The roof came off of two of their buildings. All animals had to be evacuated, I ran down there as soon as I heard. I currently have dogs from the APL at my shop. It is a temporary for tonight and tomorrow until we can find fosters.

If you are able to foster, please please please contact the APL.

I will contact everyone that was scheduled for today later in the am. I’ll send out a text around 7 to notify and call call later to reschedule.

What a weekend! I had an amazing time at Groomfest!

I’m coming back to the shop with 2 new trophies!!

I got 3rd place in Salon Freestyle and Most compassionate Groomer for Rescue Round-up!

Hey Pet-A-Groom Family,

Not the update I wanted to give, but Ronron passed away last night/early this morning.

I just wanted to get on here and thank each and every one of my clients for their understanding over the last week and half. I have had to cancel appointments, switch appointments, and my timing has been really off. Not to mention extra chattyness, I know that I can be a talker sometimes, but it gets worse when my anxiety hits. So, thank you for being kind.

I had a lot of you ask to keep you updated and I figured this was the best way to let everyone know.

As horrible as I feel right now, it makes me happy to know that Ronron was surrounded by love the last two weeks of his little life.
