Pet-A-Groom is a full service dog grooming shop on Jefferson Ave in Springfield, Il. In addition to basic grooming services, like baths and haircuts, we offer medicated shampoo & conditioning treatments, nail grinding, and teeth brushing! We groom your pet to your specifications each time to make sure you and your pet are as happy as possible with their groom. We take time to listen to your reques

ts and we won't do anything that puts your dog in distress. We care about your pet's well-being and do everything we can to ensure their comfort. At Pet-A-Groom, we want your pet to be as comfortable with us as they are at home, so all pets are kept separated from one another.

Hey Pet-A-Groom family,

I am headed to the All American Grooming show in Schaumburg!! So excited to be at the Sharp Edges Grooming booth! Learning and finding inspiration is one of my favorite things about these shows! Wow wow!!

Thank you Pet-A-Groom family! Y’all pulled through with donations to the Ronald McDonald house! We did in fact fill the Jeep! Pillows, sheets, towels, washcloths, toiletries, cleaning supplies, snacks… yall did AMAZING!!

Wasn’t unable to get a photo with everything packed in, the rain hit hard just as we got everything packed…

Thank you alll so so much! Looking forward to having lots of mini-photo shoots!

Hey Pet-A-Groom Family,

My daughter, Elizabeth, will be competing this weekend right here in Springfield at Americas Best Slumber Party Pageant. We are super excited!

One of my favorite parts about these pageants, is that they encourage volunteer work at any age. They also collect donations at each pageant to give to the host cities local food pantry or non-profit.

For this pageant, we are collecting items for The Ronald McDonald House in Springfield!

I’m reaching out to all of y’all to see if we can fill my Jeep with donations! For any client that brings in a donation, I will take a glam shot of their pup at their next groom!

Donations can be dropped off Tuesday-Friday 9-4!

The Ronald McDonald House, offers families of pediatric patients a home away from home, while their child receives medical care. Their need for items include anything you would find in a typical home

Just to name a few things on their list…

- [ ] individually wrapped food items
- [ ] cleaning supplies
- [ ] Comfort items (blankets/pillows)
- [ ] Surgar/sweet-n-low/creamer (individual wrapped)
- [ ] Toilet paper
- [ ] Paper towels
- [ ] Trash bags
- [ ] Clorox wipes

Hey Pet-A-Groom Family,

We did it!!! First place in the Rescue Round-Up competition at St. Louis Groomfest!

I was paired with an Irish Terrier, named Kelsie! She was such a good girl!! We had an absolute blast! Also, happy to announce that her foster family decided to make it official and adopted! She found her forever home!!

I had an absolute blast this weekend!

I am back in the shop returning messages, vm, and texts!!

Show season has officially kicked off!! I’m on my way to St. Louis Groomfest! 🐾❤️✂️

I’ll be working the Sharp Edges Grooming booth and competing Sunday in rescue round up!!

I will be out of the shop Thursday- Sunday! I’ll be back to work on Monday!!

I will answer text/vm/messages as time allows.

For those that don’t know, Jude was this big loving pit mix who LOVED his spaw days here at Pet-A-Groom! Jude’s mom used to joke that if he ever ran away, they’d check my shop first… he would always walk in with his tail wagging, just sooo excited to be here!

Unfortunately, Jude unexpectedly passed away from cancer. To say we miss seeing him at the shop would be an understatement…

So, in honor of Jude’s GOTCHA month (March), Jude’s mom paid for two grooms!

One groom went to Snowball and the other went to Henry!

Thank you Amanda for being so generous in honor of Jude! ❤️🐾✂️

I am officially out till Monday!! Thank you all sooooo much for the cards, gifts, and all the goodies! Elizabeth and I have been snacking on all the popcorn, chocolates, human puppy chow, and all the other snacks!!!

Hey Pet-A-Groom Family,

I had the privilege to work with Miss Quincy today! She is a 5 year old labardoodle and is currently living in a foster home. Quincy has been looking for a home for almost six months now…

Quincy is a typical doodle, energetic yes, but also super sweet!! She did jump at first, but once settled was soooo sweet! She has been working with Nate over at Rediscover Your Dog and has been doing well at learning all her commands!

Quincy is also crate trained, potty trained, and seriously so freaken sweet!

Please contact animal control if you are interested in meeting Quincy!

Please help find her a home! ❤️🐾✂️

We are back!!

Elizabeth had soo much fun in Nashville! Thank you all so much for buying raffle tickets to help support her on her journey.

I am so proud of my little and all her HARD WORK! She was the age division winner for her community service award! As ya’ll know, community service/volunteer work, is so important to me. Seeing her be recognized for it, warmed my mommy heart. HUGE shoutout to WILD Canine Rescue, for allowing Elizabeth to be involved with your events and showing her the importance of volunteer work!

That’s a wrap folks!! I will be out of the shop until Monday September 9th! We are Nashville bound!

Thank you everyone who purchased tickets for the raffle!! We had 44 tickets sold! I am so grateful to my Pet-A-Groom family! Y’all are so amazing and supportive!
