Merry Christmas to each of you & your family. May the Reason for the Season be with each of you. Over the years I have been blessed to have been able to share my precious Broadway. It lifts my soul to know that he brought laughter & joy to so many people. So, I thank you and I know in my heart he served his purpose on this earth. Some have asked how Thor Bear was doing since the passing of Broadway. Broadway was among other things a mentor to Thor. When Thor came into our home as a rescue from Marjorie's Kennel, he learned very quickly the routine of the household, as B'way made sure of that. After all, Broadway became his big brother. When Broadway passed, Thor spent several weeks in what I would call a doggie depression and seemed to always be looking for B'way to appear. He often would sit at the front door looking out to see if he would appear, as that was the door that he want out on the day he crossed the rainbow bridge. However during the past several weeks, Thor is starting to like all of the attention Kristen and I have been giving him. Lots of treats, a number of times that Dad peep has taken him for walks and special grooming. Yesterday, I was clearing out a closet that had a number of hats, bow ties and different sunglasses that Broadway had worn, and decided to try a pair of sunglasses on Thor Bear. Well...Thor was receptive of the sunglasses! No pic as of yet, but....who knows maybe Broadway talked to Thor about that. Could Thor become Mr. Hollywood?

I am going to make this post tonight, as I won't be able to post tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 a Vet will come to our home and help Broadway cross over. We are thankful that this can be in our home and Broadway will be at ease. This is very hard for us and I appreciate all of the concern and prayers for Broadway. The response has been overwhelming. There are times when I think that everything will be ok...but then he looks at me and I see the reality. Please pray for an easy transition for B'way. Our hearts are breaking.
