Nothing to do with Frenchies but it made me smile. Wonder if my French fries would enjoy watching Mr. Rogers 😁

Most people have heard of Koko, the gorilla who could speak about 1000 words in Sign Language, and understand about 2000 in English. What most people don’t know, however, is that Koko was an avid Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood fan. When Fred Rogers took a trip out to meet Koko for his show, not only did she immediately wrap her arms around him and embrace him, she did what she’d always seen him do onscreen: she proceeded to take his shoes off.

Pupdates from my pup patents! Love that I get pictures and to hear how they are doing!!

It used to be such a rare thing for us to rescue a French Bulldog from the shelter, anytime there was one we would always say yes to it and tag it. Now it feels like a daily occurrence and sadly we have had to say no sometimes in hopes that another rescue could help. We literally just rescued Abner, Paul, and Eve, all from shelters, and here we are again today. Another owner surrender dropped at the shelter in Fort Worth, I’m told she still has sutures so that tells me just about everything I need to know. Oh your little money maker is all used up now? She had her last litter of pups for you and she’s not needed anymore? You take this little terrified tiny girl and just drop her off at the shelter and don’t have a single care in the world about her?

I’ve got some choice words for you, if I could speak to you face to face you wouldn’t like how you would be addressed. You make me sick, you’re a greedy heartless POS.

I will plead with the public once again, I have no problems with reputable breeders, if you don’t know what that is, this person is not one. They value nothing but your dollars, the parents and their welfare and even the pups they produce mean nothing to them but for the money in your wallet. Please be mindful on where you are looking to purchase your Frenchie puppy from because this person who brought her to the shelter is not uncommon.

Don’t buy puppies from some random person on Craigslist, at a pet store, on a buy and sell page, at a trade days, or even Ebay. No reputable breeder that cares about their dogs would be selling their dogs this way.

Ugh. Makes me so mad.

Thankfully we were able to take this little girl, her fear will soon be over, and she will be helped medically, and socially, and we will make sure that the next place she lives will be a person who is thrilled to have her, and make her the little princess she clearly has never been before.
