📝 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐄 was picked up as a stray on 12/5/24. Notes indicate that he seems frightened in the shelter environment. He does lean into pets and he is heartworm negative! This sweet boy needs out of the shelter!

𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐄 is now on the euthanasia list for "Behavior: doesn’t walk on the leash, has to be carried in and out of the kennel, tense body, low head, trembling, low tail."
His life should not end in the shelter for that reason. 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 open up your heart and home to 𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐄.

📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
12/05/2024 BEHAVIOR NOTE: 2 large dogs. brown/white pitbull. long fur dog. attacked 2 pedestrians but did not break the skin
12/07/2024 BEHAVIOR NOTE: 1982622 took a couple steps out of the kennel then froze. no interest in treats. had to leash muzzle and carry
12/09/2024 BEHAVIOR NOTE: 12/09/24 10:56 Didn't walk; carried outside and pottied on grass. Kept tail low but pressed head into pets and to get more when I would stop. Carried back inside.
12/10/2024 BEHAVIOR NOTE: Laying in back of kennel very tensed, head low, did not want to walk out of kennel, trembling, tail low. He walked to the door of C row slowly, i carried him outside. When kennel was ready i carried him back inside to new kennel
