30 Years of Pet Care

Petropolis Pet Resort has been family owned and operated since 1988 by Dr. Paul Schifano and Hannelore Bugby. Dr. Schifano’s goal was to create the nation’s first all-inclusive pet center servicing every pet’s needs “All Under One Woof.” Now, we offer doggy day care six days a week in heated and cooled, all-seasons play yards; luxury dog and cat boarding options; individualized dog training programs; a full-service pet grooming salon; and the first dog-only water park in the Midwest, Canine Cove. Petropolis has led the pet care industry in the St. Louis Area for over 30 years, and we continue to develop our operations and facility to meet the needs of the pets – and people! – we serve.
