We confirmed pregnancy on Brynleigh! Expecting at least 9 beans it looks like 🤗

Fully deep cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing the nursery plus bum and foot bathing and medicating pups 2x a day is rough! Typically we spot clean, change bedding, toys and bowls daily and do a full clean with bathtime once or twice a week, so this is pretty exhausting to say the least! On top of a full time ER job. But I am really fighting to get ahead of this nonsense and get these babies back to full health. I do my deep clean while the beans eat a meal in their playpen, then clean, medicate and do fluids on each individual pup before placing them back in the freshly cleaned nursery. Someone send help ... and beer! 😩🤣

Please keep us and our babies in your thoughts! We are battling a horrible outbreak of coccidia and a few of the puppies have suddenly dropped weight significantly. 😞 I am doing everything I can for them, all they can eat gruel and goats milk, fluids, and a few different medications. We have never experienced this issue before and I am just so overwhelmed. So far everyone seems to be doing ok, but a couple of Maybel's babies are worrying me. 💜🤞

She is here!!! 🥰 delivered on Monday, and I am beyond excited. It will need a LOT of work, but this is our future "dog building" 💜 can't wait to have a special place to whelp and raise our beans!

15 baths, 15 nail trims, 15 neopar vaccines, and 30 doses of dewormer, plus a brand new nursery with potty area and TONS of laundry later, they are all snuggled up with full tummies 🥰 what a long day, I am exhausted!

We are going to be behind on photos this week unfortunately. We had a busy weekend and I have been suffering from debilitating migraines the last couple days. I'm very sorry that I will not have photos for everyone but know, all the beans are doing well! They are almost fully transitioned off their mammas onto puppy gruel, we are adding the potty training area later this week as well once mamma Maybel heads back to her home tomorrow and they will be getting their first real baths this week as well! With my work schedule, I don't know if I'll be able to do photos until this weekend, but I will try and post some videos at least 🥰 I appreciate you all bearing with me! Here's a few group photos of naptime yesterday 🥹

Go-home day is fast approaching! Be sure to order yours pup's food and suppliments to have on hand BEFORE they make it home 💚 keeping them on the food we feed (at least for a few weeks) is crucial! Leaving the nest is a BIG change in any dog's life, especially a young puppy! With so many changes, it can be stressful, you do not want to also stress their GI system with a food transition at the same time! We highly recommend keeping with the same food for at least 2 weeks after getting them home and then, if you choose to switch foods, doing a SLOW transition over another 2 weeks!
