Well after a whirlwind trip to the windy city, I gotta say for an inaugural event UKI pulled it off beautifully!!!
I had a great time and I hope to return next year!
Everything started on time (715 means 715) and each round for the most part started early meaning that the final round of each day was started and finished early, which most appreciated!!
The courses were phenomenally fun and challenging to the level I anticipated at the this event, so thank you to the judges who put their time into this event.
If you get the chance, don't skip this next year!!

Ok good news for flight, boarded and so far the amount of ducttape on the emergency exit door is minimal.
Maybe I'll get that jeep like experience for this flight

I'm a few days late, but happy 11th birthday to this boy! Truly my first dog in adult hood, who has been on so many adventures with me, taken me places I never expected to go and met people I'm thankful to have met.
Even though he's on a part time retirement he's still getting ready to head back to the Open this year!

I'm not gonna be a completely forgetful dad this year, this boy is my first stepping stone into so many things, first puppy from my first litter who has overcome so much and has already stepped up to fill in for his dad as he retires. I couldn't ask for a better partner in life and agility.

Well its been a good run, its time for me to retire........my judging shirts, lol
Those who know might know I've worn the same judging shirts for close to 6 years, and today begins a new day and new shirts, that is if I bought the right size, never really did Amazon shopping for shirts before.

URGENT!!!!!! Currently I am in the middle of recovering data from my recently deceased computer, and unfortunately it was my judging computer that has all my contracts and dates for this year and beyond, not to mention all of my course designs, while I have dates on my calendar for all of 2023, I do not have anyones dates for 2024 and beyond at this moment. Please if you have hired me for 2024 and beyond, please PM me or email me so that I may begin to rebuild everything in case the pros are unable to recover all of my lost files.

Well thats a wrap for Judging for 2022, so happy I got to end it at an awesome facility at Bratty Paws Dog Plex judging Tamás Tráj courses this past weekend, I certainly got my workout in!! With his courses judging I was hustling and knocking out about 30 miles on my feet for 3 days!!!
But for the wrap up of judging:
63 days judging
26 flights
5200 miles driven to trials

Due to unforeseen changes in my actual work schedule for 2023, I may have to alter my judging schedule once again, no decisions have been made at this point, currently evaluating what I ill be able to take on still. I will be attempting to not alter anything for the first half of 2023. Updates will be given as soon as I can verify what I am capable of doing.

I would like to take a moment and ask any of you who want to see ISC become more of a normal event, weekend to weekend, please talk to your local clubs, find out which judges want and like ISC (cough cough, wink wink) and be more then happy to judge it.
I certainly would be happy to design these, or even work with a European judge to get courses created.

After this year, I have decided to lower my limit of how many trials I am doing, I feel I have been away from home and my dogs far too often this year, and while they do love their vacation home at grandma and grandpas, I have not been able to give them the attention that they deserve. All trials that I have accepted so far will go on as planned for 2023, but I do not plan to take any more assignments. Looking onward to 2024 though!
