Seal is still looking for a loving home. He still has so much love to give. He does require medical and medicinal support but his quality of life is so high!
🌟 **Meet Seal, A Sweet Senior in Need of a Loving Home** 🌟
Life can be unpredictable, and this gentle soul is now facing a tough journey. Seal is a senior dog who recently lost his beloved owner. Despite everything, he still has so much love to give.
At 10 years old, Seal may have some medical challenges, but don’t let that fool you! He is full of life, with a heart that’s as big as his spirit. He had a loving owner who took such wonderful care of him during Seal's senior years. Seal has Cushings, and he has been doing really well!
All he needs now is a warm, caring home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love.
This sweet senior is:
🐾 Border Terrier
🐾 Loving and affectionate
🐾 Great with other laid back dogs, young, whippersnappers stress him out
🐾 Enjoys going for walks well on a leash
🐾 Enjoys hanging out in a fenced yard with his people
🐾 Mindful
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Best suited for a home with laid back individuals, fellow senior pets or calm pets
🐾 Loving lap baby, as he was used to being the center of his family's world
🐾 Kennel trained
🐾 Neutered
🐾 Has been introduced to cats recently, was inquisitive and was separated by pet gates
🐾 Has not been around children, best suited for children older teens
As many of us know, older pets like humans develop medical issues. Seal was so fortunate to have an incredibly dedicated owner who ensured that as he aged, he received tip top care. He was diagnosed with Cushings and has done incredibly well thanks to his medication and routine checkups. He also takes Thyroid medicine. Lastly, he is on a prescription diet to keep his kidneys healthy and strong. He requires a vet check every two to three months for bloodwork to monitor his Cushings. The current average cost of his medications is $190.

This World Rabies Day, let’s advocate for the elimination of rabies. Though rabies is a global issue affecting more than 150 countries and territories, we can still help prevent it with proper vaccination protocols and awareness programs. 🌎🐈🐕

It’s easy to understand why bringing a pet to run errands is tempting. But leaving them in a hot car for just 10 minutes can result in up to a 13-degree temperature hike! If you’re ever in doubt about whether it’s too hot for them, it’s usually best to leave them at home.
