Oh goodness. Cookie is so bossy! Not only did she make sure Bogie’s haircut was right. Then she had to oversee the towels being folded and at the end if the day had the absolute nerve to check and see if I cleaned the tub. LOL. She was a joy! So entertaining.

Cookie is “micro managing” me while I’m trying to groom Bogie. Next will be the side eye.

And finally, after all these posts, I want to share with you my own little dog, Lucy. I have had Lucy for 15 years. Prior to that, she was, what we call a puppy mill dog. She went everywhere with me while I groomed. Lucy passed away on Sept. 25, 2024 at age 19. She will always be in my heart and I promise to all of you, as a groomer, I will show the same compassion to your pet as I have with my own girl. Your pet is an extension of me and Lucy and I hope to never fail you as their groomer These pups are our babies. I know that and understand.

Oh goodness. Totally forgot to post Moose and Bagel. They got their de-sheds on Tuesday. How sweet were those two. Lawd, (that's a southern term) we pulled and pulled dead hair. And totally revealed the luster of their coat. Sweet, sweet babies. Until I had to pull out the "happy hoodie" for Bagel. See that furrowed brow?
