Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

One of our training horses Rain and I had a fantastic ride. She is learning to be more balanced in the lope and to be more light on her front end.

Warm weather means a round pen day for kila.

He is our own 5 year old of the track thoroughbred. Have been getting slowly back into work after some much needed time off to grow. He is so smart and we have hopes he will become an all around horse for us!

In the round pen he rushes and continuously runs and doesn't listen to the person working him so we turn him into the fence which also makes him use his hind end. You can see in the short video that he eventually joins up with Hailey which is what we want in the end.

Afternoon fun on Rhett!

First time with this mare in the indoor arena and she did amazing!

A little background on this horse. She was a broodmare for most of her life and had about 6 months of work under saddle put on her a couple of years ago.

This is the 3rd time riding her and with all of her time off I am amazed on how willing she is to work and the confidence she has. Her steering and backing has improved along with becoming very light in the mouth.

Lots of other things to improve on but this mare is a fun one.

Junebug is starting to engage with her hind end and is becoming very soft in the mouth. This mare is so easy going and fun to work with

First week with Rhett is done! He is already softer in the mouth. There is a lot more for him to learn but any progress is good progress.
