Attention all guests: Please note that the town licenses for Connecticut and Massachusetts for 2023-24 have expired. According to Connecticut state law, we are obliged to have a copy of the town license expiring in 2025 on file for your dog's visit. If we do not receive it, we will be unable to board your dog. You can either provide a copy at the time of drop off, or you can email it in advance to [email protected]

Are you curious about what our secret is to keep your furry friends happy during these hot days? Well, it's simple! We exercise only one dog out at a time to prevent them from getting too worked up in the heat. Plus, we provide fresh, clean, cold water 3 times a day. In addition, we offer the dogs their favorite frozen stuffed Kong treats, ingredients may include vanilla ice cream, yogurt, Freshpet dog food, kibble, and even carrots - keeping your dog's dietary needs in mind. Lastly, our kennel's central air conditioning is set to a comfortable 72°F. As for us, we remain cool calm, and collected knowing our friend Jeremy and his amazing team at APEX Refrigeration Cooling And Heating LLC are always available to assist us with any air conditioning issues if they were to arise. It seems that we had a Feisty thief at Bark Inn Kennels. However, there's no need to panic and call the Paw Patrol. Our fantastic team handled the situation and was able to get her to safely pull over and issued her a verbal warning for the infraction.
