What a special day today is. Sweet Little Flan is waiting on his new family to arrive. This is Crème Brûlée’s little brother.

The morning that I took him to be neutered, I sat on the couch with him telling my husband how sad I was. He is a very showy boy and could have finished his Championship quickly. He is so beautifully proportioned. And his face is so sweet. His uncle is a World Champion and his Grandfather is a World Champion and that is not mentioned regular champions he has in his family.

But I am keeping Creme Brûlée so let’s hope she continues to grow. But it’s just something special about boys!!!

Good morning! We made it through the night with several tornadoes spotted and one touching down near our home! So we are blessed.

Just a heads up this is Creme Brûlée brother, he will be coming available in the next week or so. No home with small children.

He has a beautiful coat and comes from high quality parents. Mr. Grumps is the dad and has put his mark on yet another one of his children.

Part 2: Creme BrûléE’s WIND and TREE monster socialization 🌳

She officially laid down and relaxed and got over the shock of those big green tall things swaying in the wind.

In the end she was reluctant to go back inside. So the socialization I think was a success! 🌳

They say we have strong winds and heavy rain headed our way, so this is a perfect time to sit on the porch with the “Littles” and get them socialized with the soft winds blowing in the trees.

One of my 17 year old Grandfur girls passed away this week. Below is from her Mom.

Hi Chantel,
This is Meera Jain and my mom Nina Raheja. We got our sweet girl Emy from you all the way back in January of 2008. We wanted to reach out to you to let you know that our little girl passed away on the 31st after giving us almost 17 (!!!!) wonderful years. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her whole entire family at home. We can’t thank you enough for giving us the greatest gift we’ve ever received. Here are some of our favorite pictures of her. She was so, so loved and she gave us so much love. ❤️ “

Alert: To all my Virginia Dog owners. Parvo is on the rise and killing dogs all over Virginia.

If your pet hasn’t been vaccinated, or they need a booster, PLEASE do it asap. This virus is not one to take lightly. My Yorkies have 2-3 parvo vaccines before they leave my home. I take it that serious.

If you have a vet or someone who can come to your home to vaccinate them, that would be best. Parvo is so contagious that people bring it home from the vet all the time.

If you go to the vet here are a few things I do.
1. Take a crate with a blanket completely over it.
2. Do NOT set your crate on the floor when you go to pay or check in. Parvo could be on the floor and you will bring it home with you, via the bottom of your crate and then on your car seats and home.
3. Bleach/Rescue the exam table, Put a fresh blanket on the exam table.
4. Take bleach/ Rescue solution and clean the scales before they weigh them and also put several layers of paper towels on it.
5. Ask the vet and the techs if they could wash their hands in front of you.
6. Don’t let the vet tech snuggle them because it could be on their clothes.
7. Spray the room with a spay that kills parvo. I use Rescue in a spray bottle.
8. Take shoes off and put in a bag as you get in your car. Bleach/Rescue these when you get home. Do not step on your property with these shoes.
9. Don’t wear shoes in your home at any time.

Animal hospitals and shelters in Central Virginia are on high alert after seeing an uptick in parvovirus, also known as parvo.

She is 1/2 my bloodline and was going to be staying with me but she is rather little.

She had her vet check up today. She will be spayed and ready the first week of August.

Meet Chantaillylace’s Crème Brûlée.

She is one of the four from the delicious dessert litter. She is a little doll with such amazing features. She has a beautiful square body that screens “SHOW ME in the dog show’ Mom” However, she is the least outgoing of the four but has an adorable shyness about her. I love my babies to the moon and back!

She is going to be my keeper if she gets 5 lbs.

I can’t wait for you to see the other 2 which are little brothers, they are scrumptious to say the least.

I have decided to make my decision early and not wait the 6 months that I have always done in the past.

I have decided to keep this little girl. She is the bigger of the two girls and I am not going to get my hopes up on the little sister.

So I will be placing a GIRL!!! So little Sissy will be available but on the high end. Please remind me if you are on the waiting list. They are 7 weeks and DELICIOUSLY adorable.

This little girl I am keeping has the cutest nose bumps. She pushes her nose into my nose! It’s so SWEET!

We got the GROWLIES! I have been holding out on you all about this adorable litter because I want to keep them all for myself. lol. I know selfish! lol

Up for Adoption: Rehome

This adorable and precious little girl was going to her new home this past week.

However, I found out her new family has a very large Grand-dog that comes on the weekends and Ashe needs to be in a home that she feels safe in. She is such an easy going little lady and we are looking for a home with no large dogs or small children.

Dolly Diva was spayed yesterday and did amazing. She came out in the arms of the vet staff and was a little doll all in DIVA STYLE!

Remember the Cha Cha boys, well they had a little sister, I would really never post her pics, because I was in hopes to keep her for myself lol.

I did place her early around the same time as her brothers because I knew 100 Percent she would be too little for me too keep.

Dear Grandfurmom,

I hope this finds you happy and in good health. Today I turn 4 years old.

My brother and I have grown closer and love living with the parents you chose for us. My mommy and daddy put me on a diet. I still get good food and treats…just not so much as before and my food dish is a puzzle. They also make sure I can’t eat my brother’s food. I’ve lost some weight and can now play longer with my brother…and I wag my tail a lot! We still love to greet anyone who delivers food to the door…which we’ve done since we were babies!

When daddy has to go in to work, he calls mommy on her phone when he’s almost home. We pester her until she puts him on speaker so we can talk to him too! Well…we don’t really talk…we just get really excited hearing him talk to us and we know that he will be home soon and start looking out the window for him. Sometimes she opens the door and my brother sits on my lap while we wait for his car to pull in to the driveway.

My brother and I protect mommy and daddy. We bark at kids that play outside…we don’t like little people. We watch mommy’s face when she’s watching tv…if she gets an angry look or scared look we growl and bark. If a bird flies past the window we bark like crazy! We don’t like to get groomed, but mommy and daddy make us get all pretty anyway.

We play a lot. I play catch with daddy…and then keep away. He always wants the ball back! Brother and I chase each other around the house and pound the floor with our front paws and little butts in the air. Mommy always laughs when we do that.

Well…mommy is calling me. Take care, Grandfurmom! We love you!
