Mr Wren is back for his biweekly day camps! Today we took on campus. Pictured here are his three top accomplishments! He performed a great loose leash heel OUTSIDE, a THREE hour long settle in the library, and kept his composure around the most delicious distraction: my lunch.

Wren is a service dog in training, and these are three of his biggest issues. I am very proud of him, and I know his mom is too!

MAGGIE: a hound mix who never wants to come inside from her new home with an acre of yard to run and frolic and sun bathe in

ALSO MAGGIE: sees the hay bales mom bought to start practicing for barn hunt (a dog sport) and doesn’t even wait for the second one to get unloaded before claiming it as her outside bed, “this lookings like a great spot to lay down! Thanks mom!”

At least you look cute Maggie 💕

Kaidence Hamm is over our pet sitting department, or as some love to call her: the dog babysitter! But she doesn’t just care for dogs, Mr. Rio’s favorite time of the day is his snoot boop before breakfast!

I got an update today about one of my graduates! She was a confidence building client and we worked a lot on socialization and handling new scary situations. This makes me so happy to hear that she is able to continue life with new confidence! Great job Honey! 🍯 🐾

When mom is swamped with summer semester, moving, and balancing new business ideas and partnership launches the dogs get the best (and longest) dinner of their lives.

You’re looking at mixed kibble, raw, and wet food, warm water for hydrating the kibble, some health supplements, and (DOG SAFE) peanut butter smeared into the slow feeders!

Hello community! 💜🐾

Unfortunately our boarding opportunities are temporarily closed. The move that we had last week has presented some unexpected challenges and we will not be able to accommodate boarders until further notice.

BUT we are still offering all of our other services including in home stays and pop ins for summer trips! Thank you for your understanding and patience while we get some things sorted out.

The dogs love the new place! 🐾

The amazing bouncy Mavis has come to stay for a while!

She is a six month old golden retriever service dog in training. Her owner is a friend of mine and Ms Mavis is 100% a firecracker. Wish us luck!

He is killing it folks! Tanner is reviewing leash walking and building up better habits! He took no time at all to get right back to it, now he just needs to stay focused for longer and longer periods. Good thing we have plenty of cheese here in Starkville 😉

Here is Mr Tanner! In this clip we’re reviewing door manners and making our way outside, Tanner is a little more stubborn but very smart and VERY motivated for CHEESE 🧀 haha! We always want to use something that will motivate your dog when learning new skills, Tanner is a bit more picky and won’t work for his kibble, he’s a little man who knows what he wants.

Walking

Here we celebrate his first focused, outside loose leash walk and his dad’s wonderful strides in relationship building with this dog that has given him the ability to gain control and soon enjoy adventures!

Confidence

Here is Mr Baxter taking on the outside world with his dad. In this clip he is working on remaining focused on his dad while in this new and noisy environment! I was very shocked and proud to see he had almost no reaction to the loud car going by as he has had sound sensitivity issues in the past and we’ve been working diligently to help him gain confidence!
