Mississippi State University Pre-Veterinary Club

For all those interested in animals - great and small. There are fund raising and social events the members can choose to participate in as well.

The MSU Pre-Veterinary Club is an organization committed to presenting pre-veterinary students the opportunity to learn more about the diverse field of veterinary medicine. Speakers and meeting programs are focused on a variety of topics that undergraduate students and animal lovers often do not have the opportunity to learn about or get involved with. The club allows the members to interact with

professors, veterinary medical professionals, veterinary students, and meet other pre-veterinary students.

Our last general body meeting of the semester is this Wednesday at 7:00! We would love to see everyone there one last time. Our speaker this week will be Dr. Betbeze, an ophthalmologist at MSU-CVM! 👀🐾

We had a great time at our WPAS Clean-Up service event! A big thank you to our members who took time out of their weekend to help clean up trash along the dog walking route by the shelter! 🤍🐾

Just a reminder that our goat yoga event is two weeks from today! Yoga will be taught by and will take place on the lawn in front of the ADS building! In the event of rain, ticket holders can either be refunded or can move to the alternate location at Starkville Athletic Club (there will be no goats at this location). On April 21 we’ll be having our annual FREE dog wash! Students, faculty, and members of the community can come down to MSU-CVM to have members of the pre-veterinary club give their dogs a bath! And members, helping with this event counts towards committee points, so you won’t want to miss it! 🛁🫧🐶

Our West Point Clean Up event is one week from today! We’ll be picking up litter along the dog walking route to make walking safer for the dogs and volunteers. Whether you need some last minute service hours or just want to support a good cause, we would love to see you there!
