Introducing TLFF’s The Black Knight of LG!

Knight is a hybrid (EU polecat x ferret) that has joined our breeding program. His mom is DCS’s Nyx of TLFF, a beautiful black solid from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and his dad is FF’s The Cosmic Stallion (Cosmo) of LG, a handsome roan.

Although Knight has a lot of his dad’s traits, he is smart, agile, and athletic.

We are so excited to have him in our breeding program and contributing to genetic diversity!

We were at The Ferret 500 🏁 yesterday in Indianapolis.

TLFF’s Mineru of LG won best in show in the adolescent/breeder class! We are thrilled!

We will be at the Ferret Buckeye Bash in Columbus in August!

We are so excited to announce our first breeding of the season! We are so honored and proud to be working with Lilac Grove Ferretry. Their very handsome Cosmo joined us for a slumber party and we're hoping to see some kits in May 😁

Spring Nats 2024

TLFF’s Mineru of LG

This was Mineru’s first show. She won best in Sable specialty class early in the day.
Later, she went 1,1,3 in the three adolescent rings and took home Best in Show Adolescent.

There is so much pride. Mineru comes from our friends over at The Little Foot Ferretry. Her win reflects the amazing pairings and her temperament is beautiful. I fell in love with WWW’s Figaro of TLFF. Although young, he was so well put together. When The Little Foot Ferretry posted that there were kits with Figaro as the dad, I wanted a kit so badly. SHD’s Bonnie of TLFF is also a gorgeous sable jill, but it was Figaro that stole my heart.

Networking with amazing breeders is such a privilege. And I am so happy to have great friends.

So yes, huge shoutout to The Little Foot Ferretry. I’m so proud of your girl, and thank you for letting us have this beautiful and sassy girl. This is our shared win.

Spring Nationals Awards Banquet

LG’s The Evenstar (Evan) won 2023 Breeder Ferret of the Year

SHD’s Caramel Kisses of LG (ChiChi) won 2023 Champagne Ferret of the Year.

LG’s Supernova was 4th in breeder.
LG’s Polaris was 6th in breeder.
NB’s Tatsumaki of LG was 3rd in adolescent.

We are proud of our little ones. They did phenomenal and the competition were fabulous as well.

Introducing TLFF’s Mineru of LG!

Thanks to The Little Foot Ferretry for trusting us to have this little one join our breeding program! Mineru will add some diversity to our lines.

She is a sable jill who has a great temperament and structure. She is full of attitude, but gentle with the older ones in our ferret groups. She loves her humans, too. She is very vocal, frequently dooking up a storm, happy huffing, or hissing…. She always has something to say!

We attended Spring Fling ferret show on 4/22.

Our LG's Supernova took 1st place in all three adolescent rings and won best in show for adolescent class.

We will be attending The Ferret 500 in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 3rd.

Our 2022 season has come to an end. All our kits have been spoken for.

Moon didn't cooperate with us, and we were unable to re-breed her this year. We will be breeding her in 2023.
Star has produced two gorgeous litters, and will now return to being a pet in our home. We do not place our adults or retired breeders - they are permanent family members in our home. She has three gorgeous daughters that will continue her line.

We feed our kits raw and freeze dried raw only.
One of their favorite snacks are whole prey baby chicks from Raw Feeding Miami.
Kits often play with their whole prey food. Completely normal. Here’s a great example of them bouncing with their food.
