Since January, we’ve spent over 3K on vet bills for our animal ambassadors at the Ranch. 🦜❤️

Our resident greeter Jordie has ongoing sinus issues that is requiring long term treatment. Parrots are incredibly susceptible to nasal issues, but especially African Grays. So far he has had multiple vet visits that have included nasal flushes and x-rays, while we have had to give him daily medications at the Ranch. He is one of our most beloved ambassadors who can be heard greeting everyone with “I Love You!” and whistling the Andy Griffith theme song.

Some of Jordie’s friends at the Ranch have also needed unpredicted vet care. From rabbits and rats to goats and guinea pigs, the bills are adding up and we need YOUR help.

Sweet Whiskey crossed the rainbow bridge last night. Thanks to his incredible family who gave him the best life any dog could ever have.

While he only had six months with his incredible loving family, this sweet senior lived it up.

Adopt sweet Luna! This 25lb bundle of sunshine is ALL LOVE. We’re not sure what she is but she looks like a tiny hound. Her previous owners left her in a closet with her five newborn puppies when they moved. But that doesn’t slow Luna down at all. She is all about love and happiness.

Today was a great day to save some lives! We rescued Jolene the special needs beagle! And with our awesome partnership with Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society of Henderson, NC we transported this pregnant momma to her foster in Greensboro as well!

WE PAY FOR HEARTWORM TREATMENT. Lucky does not let things hold her back. She is a sweet girl that has old injuries resulting in the loss of her pad and toes to her back foot. If anyone needs a spoiled life it’s her.
