WE HAVE PUPPIES!
Fleetwood Mac are full of fun! These mixed breed puppies and their momma came to us from an over populated shelter in Southern Va. Unfortunately, Lindsey died before he could get to us but Stevie, Mick and Christine know that the show must go on!
Yes, our puppy adoption fees are a little higher. It helps us pay for all the adult dogs that need a lot of medical care and we can't give away.
Puppies are a LIFE LONG COMMITMENT! Make sure you are ready!
Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. ADOPT DEBBIE!
Say Hello to Little Debbie! Little Debbie is a sweet, petite, little Fudge Round who came to us from a rural shelter with more dogs than adopters! She is a mixed breed dog who weighs about 50 pounds and she's not named after America's favorite snack cake for nothing! This Nutty Buddy Bar is nothing but fun! She loves to play with kids and happy, playful dogs who can chase her around the yard. She's also good with the cat who will smack her face if need be but does chase the one who won't. With slow supervised introductions, she should be just fine with feline friends! What a plus!
Little Debbie is the perfect companion for all of your upcoming, outdoor adventues with all the energy she needs to accompany you on hikes or to the local brewery. Raining? Debbie don't care. She's just as happy snuggling up and watching movies on the couch. Yes, we know. She is just about perfect and more than ready to Swiss Roll her way right into your heart! Doesn't that sound great?

READY FOR FOREVER HOMES!
Spot and Obie are READY FOR ADOPTION!
After months in our local shelter, Oberyn and Spot have transferred to us from Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center and are now ready for adoption! These guys charmed their way into one of our best foster homes and are enjoying all the extra attention that comes with being in a foster home instead of a kennel! We honestly do not understand why these boys have not been adopted. Spot has been at the shelter since December and just wants to play with every dog he meets! Oberyn has been at the shelter since February and is full of silly fun. He also knows how to sit, shake hands and lie down! We are honored to be able to help them on the last leg of their journey to finding a forever home and to help our shelter fight overcrowded and euthanasia by welcoming them into our program!
More info on each one at.....www.augustadogadoptions.org

UPDATE ON EDDARD- in foster care.
He is just so full of joy, kindness, and love. π
Eddard's Story...
Eddard has joined AugustaDog Adoptions! After being found at a local dumping ground, we are pretty sure Eddard lived chained for some time before that. He came into our local shelter with horrific pressure sores that can occur just from sitting on bare ground for a long period of time. He also had the telltale calluses on his front legs!
After waiting in the shelter since December, Eddard is out! We want to send our biggest thanks to the staff at Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center who fed, walked, bathed, medicated and never gave up on finding a way to get Eddard out of the shelter. We are also very thankful for Friends of Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center for finacially providing Eddard with vet care while he was at the shelter! Eddard has moved to a fabulous foster home and now it's our turn to help Eddard! We are going to find this boy the best new home ever!

He has been a kept as a "house dog" by his previous owners and his housetrained! Abe has a history of getting along well with female dogs but not loving every male dog he meets so if you currently have other dogs, Abe will want to interview them before he goes home with you!
Abe is a beautiful boy who is sure to turn lots of heads! We need just one of you to adore him enough to make him yours forever!
