𝗦𝗜𝗫 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗦 is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the U.S. die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗦 if left alone in a car.

🚗 The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 within 𝟭𝟮 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗦.

🚗 At least 𝟳𝟱% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 𝟱 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗦 of closing the vehicle, and at least 𝟴𝟵% of the temperature increase occurs within 𝟭𝟱 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗦 of closing the vehicle.

🚗 Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

🚗 Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

🚗 Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

🚗 Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

🚗 Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦. Please don’t risk their safety.

🙌 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗡 is finally home where she belongs after being 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗜𝗫 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗦‼️

This rescue quite literally 𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗘- There were so many moving parts to get this girl safe but Carlyn Kuder gets the ⭐️

Autumn outsmarted 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 for months while running the streets of Ft. Myers Army Base - and to date is Animal Welfare League of Arlington most difficult case (𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎 𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟).

Once we got Carlyn Kuder on board - she was as 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗔𝗦 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 🏠‼️

🥳 𝗗𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗡, 𝗣𝗔 is celebrating the return of 6 year old Harper, a mini dachshund with a penchant for wandering. 😊

This was not Ms. Harper’s first rodeo - she is a repeat offender, but of the 5 mini weener dogs and 1 jack russell- Harper has the most 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑙𝑢𝑠𝑡 of the bunch.

With that said, it is no surprise that she is the proud owner of a 𝗚𝗣𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗥 . What is surprising is that the battery 🪫 quickly drained - and then as luck would have it, she was off, roaming in the woods, and out of range.

After 𝟮 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦, 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗘𝗗, 𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 & 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗙 that she had actually vanished - worried fur parents, they quickly called Professional Pet Trackers.

𝗞𝟵 𝗟𝗜𝗟𝗬 & 𝗞𝟵 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗨 were paws 🐾 on the ground 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰 - working the last place (𝑎 𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑦, 𝑏𝑢𝑠𝑦 𝑟𝑜𝑎𝑑) she had even been seen 👀- on the Sunday prior. 😩

Fast forward to this morning, little Harper took the hint after a sighting 👀 yesterday (𝑖𝑛 𝑎 𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑛𝑓𝑖𝑒𝑙𝑑 🌽 𝑢𝑝 𝑡𝘩𝑒 𝑟𝑜𝑎𝑑 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡𝘩𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑘) - and with a 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘- they sprung into action. They were 💯 on top of moving 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗦, 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗣, and all the things that go with - their 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣 until they got their girl home.

Fur dad’s 𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗟 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 must have done the trick- fur mom writes “SHE’S HOME! She was barking at our back door at 4:20 this morning. She covered a lot of distance to get home.”🥰

After 𝟭𝟭 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 Westley decided it was time to go home in 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗣𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗥, 𝗩𝗔.

Wesley’s family had just moved into their home, coming from Pennsylvania, and are expecting a human addition in the upcoming months a. so to say things were a bit hectic would be an understatement. The last thing they expected was Wesley to go off on a solo adventure - causing sleepless nights through out the house.

With 𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 Professional Pet Trackers were called in on 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟯 to help bring their boy home. Well, just as K9’s were headed in, not just one- but 𝗦𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗦 came in with 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦. 🙌 Their boy was super close … just on the other side of the wood line - or at least he had been hanging out there for the past couple days.

Time to 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧 & 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦! We knew that 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗟𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗠 - which we 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗡𝗢𝗧 want to do. So, we called in the "𝗔 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠" - Christine Ann and 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 to bring this boy to safety.

As expected, they 𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗧 - Christine Ann had cameras going, grills grilling, liquid smoke smoking - she spent many 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗥 waiting for Wesley to take the bait and go into the trap.

As was par for the course, Wesley had other plans. On 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭𝟭 his fur mom, Olivia was responding to a sighting call when she got eyes on him. She was just the person he had been searching for - she was able to use 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦 and 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗗 her boy‼️

Murphys family in 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗣𝗘𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗥, 𝗩𝗔 are excited to have their girl home‼️

Murphy’s mom says: “We found her!!! We got back from airport and drove to where she was last seen, saw some people walking their dog and asked them if they had seen a lost dog. They said yes and told us what field she was in down a gravel road. Bob saw her first but she ran away and then we were just standing there talking to one of the neighbors and she must have circled back to spy on us and I saw her and called to her and she came running very happy to see us!!! She’s in good shape except for some cuts on her legs.

We found her and got her back home within 20 mins of looking for her!! After she had been missing for 5 days. It was such a relief!!

My takeaway
She was a relatively recent rescue ( end of April) and we left her with a dog sitter at our house. She left first chance she was able to go outside unsupervised for just a minute or two.
She’s an Australian Shepherd that doesn’t go to anyone except me or my husband so we needed to be there!!

She seems to have followed the text book pattern of setting up in a place to be trapped.

Signs and Neighbors calls were the key to us locating her and identifying where she was hanging out. I think the feral cat food at the landscaping company kept her grounded to that vicinity.

Today, we take a moment to remember and honor the beloved pets who have touched our lives and left their 𝗽𝗮𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁. 🐶🐱🐰

Pets bring us 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, joy, and companionship. Although they may no longer be with us physically, their memories continue to bring warmth and comfort to our lives. 💖

She says “Good news! My cat Guiseppe was brought into my vets office today! They scanned him for a chip and called me! He was found, 10 months later (and rough from it too!) by a neighbor about 1/2 mile to the NW from my house.”

Imagine leaving for vacation only to get there and then get the call that your fur-baby had gone MIA 😮😔 This is exactly what happened to Romeo’s family when they dropped him off in 𝗚𝗨𝗬𝗧𝗢𝗡, 𝗚𝗔 before continuing south for vacation in Florida.

𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞, 𝗣𝗔: After 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦, Sporty has made it home, letting herself in through her neighbors 🐶 doggy door🚪 like nothing had happened.

It was like any other day, Sporty was playing outside and mom was keeping a close watch on her 𝗚𝗣𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗥 to make sure she didn’t make it outside the perimeter. Then without warning, Sporty was gone. Not only was she no where to be found- but the GPS collar showed she was still at the neighbors. 😮

Laura went into full search mode - checking sheds, under porches, and all of her normal spots but came up empty handed. She received ☝️ tip from two little girls saying they had seen her running around a couple blocks away .. and then nothing.

With no further sightings & fearing the worst (𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑘𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠) 𝗞𝟵 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗫 was 🐾 on the ground 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟱 to shed some light on Ms. Sportys where abouts.
K9 Trix showed us that Sporty was following the lakes shoreline, which is quite possibly why there had been no sightings. After a little over a mile we found ourselves on a construction site for a house that was being built. We handed out flyers to the workers and one was quick to respond that Sporty had been there less than 24 hours prior!!!!! This was the news we needed.

Knowing that Sporty was following the shore, we were able to determine her 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗟 and estimate how long it would take her to make it to various spots on the lake. Over the next several days calls 📞 would come in each morning with reports of seeing Sporty - each sighting either on the shore line, at a marina, or directly off the lake shore. With each call we would relocate 📷 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗦, 𝗥𝗘-𝗕𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, & ensure that the 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘 she was still missing and the search was active.

Then the 📞 calls stopped 😞. We knew she had continued up the shore, but with no new sightings we did not know which was she had gone. Had she continued her trek around the lake, or had she turned around and doubled back 🤷🏻‍♀️. Plans were made for us to head back up to the lake once again. Well, Sporty had other plans.

Demi is back home where she belongs in 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗪 𝗩𝗔 after roughly 𝟮𝟰 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦‼️

Demi’s family has friends in high places & as soon as word got out that their sweet girl was missing - they immediately got connected with Professional Pet Trackers. We quickly put a plan into place:

As 🍀 luck would have it- Demi has other plans. The one sighting 👀 that came in was of her in the gas line… so we knew where she was traveling. The question remained of which way 🤷🏻‍♀️she would choose to go.

Our question was answered early this morning when she was seen roughly ☝️ mile from home & less than .3 miles from the sighting 👀 yesterday.

She was clearly ready to go home as well- the next thing we knew, Demi was curled up in her favorite bed next to her favorite human!!

There is one military family that will be sleeping more soundly tonight!!

After 𝟴𝟮 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦, Little is finally back with his people in 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗔 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛, 𝗩𝗔. This 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿/𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 kitty went MIA when he was at the pet sitters (𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑐𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝘩𝑜𝑚𝑒) while fur-mom was deployed. As soon as she was back in town - it was all things Little, and she was not stopping till her boy was home.

𝗞𝟵 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗘 & 𝗞𝟵 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗫 gave it their all and showed us where he had been.. but a displaced kitty 🐈‍⬛ who likes to always be on the hunt - he kept on moving. After two months of being in the move - he seemed to settle in an area roughly 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦 from point of loss. Not only was he a repeat at a Good Samaritan’s home.. he developed a feeding schedule and stuck to it!!

𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘'𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗠: “Since we knew his schedule, I was there waiting. I called his name when he came and he seemed scared but started talking back to me. He walked around me still but when he went to eat, we planned to pick him up quickly and take him inside her closed den. Which we did. I sat with him for about 3 minutes with his favorite cover and it was like a light went off and then he wanted love and seemed so happy.”

🐾 𝗡𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 of your lost dog? Time to 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗 your posting radius!!

Dogs are known to go 𝟯-𝟱 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 … and if given the right terrain that can put them in a different city, town, or a totally different state‼️

Bella made it 𝟯𝟴 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦 in 𝟭𝟯 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦‼️

Luckily for all involved we were able to come up with a game plan to bring her home‼️

📣 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘆: 𝘈 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦, 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 & 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 💜

Beasley was living the good life - which was a welcomed change after being rescued from her life as an Amish breeding dog. Things could not have been more perfect for her, which is why it was such a surprise to her fur-mom that she had managed to push through the the double gate of her fenced in yard and took off running.

Not knowing what to do or where to turn, Maggie started looking for some help to find her girl. Fortunately for Beasley (𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝘩𝑒𝑟 𝑓𝑢𝑟-𝑚𝑜𝑚), Lorie Stambaugh from DELCO DAWGS was up to the task‼️

She quickly got to work on hanging 𝗙𝗟𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗦, posting on 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔, and making sure that everyone knew she was looking for her girl. After several days of 𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦, Professional Pet Trackers was contacted to see if we could shed some 💡 light as to where Ms. Beasley had run off to.

𝗞𝟵 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗘 & 𝗞𝟵 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗫 were paws 🐾 on the ground 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭𝟬. Having had ☝️ sighting pre-track, in a gated retirement community, our game plan was to start there. Every day for the past few days, Maggie had been driving to the community with no issues and we clearly thought this would be no different. Unfortunately- there had been a change of heart and the guard at the gate said that we would not be allowed in to search for Maggie’s girl. 🤔

When working with lost pets, you have to be prepared for things to 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗙𝗧 within seconds- so that is what we did. We were not going to let this one obstacle get in our way. We were able to start outside the gated area and work the 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥 to see if Beasley had left the community- and if so, where had she relocated to.

All signs 🪧 pointed to her still being on the retirement community grounds… and as 🍀 luck would have it.. there were several ways to get access to the areas that we needed.

K9 Rose was able to show us an area that had super strong scent and K9 Trix was brought into confirm. Not only did K9 Trix confirm, she gave us a 1.5 mile track that had us going through areas with donkeys 🫏, goats 🐐, chickens 🐓, which also allowed us to talk to farm help and several other residents.

As most people who have experienced losing a pet, or anyone who follows this page will know … when working a lost dog case it is 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧. We need the pet’s owner to be with us - not just so they can see how our process works first hand, but because their lost pet is looking for them like they are looking for their pet. By having the 𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧 in an area where their lost pet is, it encourages their pet to either stay in that area- or if we are lucky, they will come out behind us on the track. Beasley was no different and she was looking for her mom just as much as her mom was searching for her.

Within 60 minutes of us being in the area a 📞 call came in. 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗬 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧 we had just left. 🙌 Now our plans were shifting into high gear. Maggie knew exactly what she needed to do. Go back and 𝗦𝗜𝗧/𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬 right there in hopes Beasley would sense her. Unfortunately our plans had to be shifted yet again.

We always tell people 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗨𝗘 a lost dog. Every single person we come in contact with during the track receives a 𝗙𝗟𝗬𝗘𝗥 and instructions- if they do by some chance see the lost dog, 𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗘, 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗔 𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘, & 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 the number on the flyer 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬. We know that this goes against every instinct that people have - so it is hard to really drive that point home. Sadly, this time was no different.

No sooner than Maggie getting back to the area did she receive a call from the gate guard (𝑡𝘩𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑤𝘩𝑜 𝘩𝑎𝑑 𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑢𝑠 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑦 𝘩𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠 𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑟) - saying that he had eyes 👀 on Beasley. Maggie reiterated to him to please ignore her- he however said, “𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑐𝘩 𝘩𝑒𝑟, 𝐼 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑓𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤 𝘩𝑒𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑤𝘩𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑠𝘩𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝑒𝑠". 🤦🏻‍♀️

All this does is make things harder- once a pet is chased they may start to associate that area with fear, meaning they will be less likely to return to that area and we are now back at square one. Beasley was once again being chased from her “safe space” - and all we could do is hope that she was going to stick with the routine she had likely developed over the past week. The stars ⭐️ aligned… while she should have never been chased to begin with, they did manage to corner her in a barn/shed … and it was exactly where K9 Trix had been prior that day- and an area that we were already working on getting a camera 📷 up at.

Having 𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦, 𝐾9 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑒 & 𝐾9 𝑇𝑟𝑖𝑥 set out to track her down on 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟴. Within 𝟮𝟰 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 we had her smiling for the camera.

Now that we know 💯 𝑀𝑠. 𝐶𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑒'𝑠 where-a-bouts - A 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 is in place‼️
