Starting 1st of June until September I will only be scheduling 4 days a week. 1 day a week will be switched to emergency only. That means no texts or calls will be monitored on regular phone line. You will need to call to get referred to emergency number to contact me. All texts and messages will be attended to as soon as possible next business day.

Emergency only days will have added fees.

MONDAY JUNE 2 WILL BE EMERGENCY ONLY

Switching to emergency only for the weekend. Sorry I see many messages that are unread for questions, I will get back to them on Monday. If you have an emergency, please call the business cell and it will direct you to my emergency number.

Gentle reminder.....

As the spring time rush takes effect my accounts receivable has dramatically increased already. For any routine calls, I will be holding samples (coggins, labs, etc) and medicine scripts until bills are paid in full. If you are scheduling a routine call, please have your form of payment ready for that day (checks, cash, venmo, and credit cards are currently accepted).

Time is precious for a solo veterinarian and it is very time consuming to have to track down payments/bill at a later date. I do have many producers that I bill every month and you will continue to be billed this way if we have a previous agreement. But for the majority of clients, bills will be due at the time of service to enable me to have more time for calls and not office work!

Thank you.

From Friday March 28th to Monday 31st at 8 am I will be doing CURRENT clients emergency only. I will not be responding to questions, texts, messages for 3 days. I want to enjoy a little spring break time with my kids.

If you are a CURRENT client that uses only me as your vet, please call the business line and it will direct you to my emergency number.

Thanks and have a great weekend!

That's all folks.

After a couple brutal, long days I am shutting the window for any new clients. Sorry for any inconvenience, but if you didn't nail me down on a farm call date I won't be able to see you for any emergencies or establish you right now. I know this is frustrating, however when I have 9 emergencies in a 36 hour period over 5 different counties prior and established clients deserve first priority. My business motto is and always will be to do the best I can do, but can't do it all!!

Looks like spring!! To all my equine clients.....(and anyone else that needs specific days in the spring too).

I am currently setting up March and April (some early May) routes. Please look at your calendars and make sure to set up a few weeks ahead of when you need proof of coggins back to avoid any chaos.

If anyone has certain days/times that need to be worked around for scheduling; it takes me a little more planning to get you accommodated so more advanced notice is usually required!!

I will schedule a limited number of new clients this spring to get anyone in need of a veterinarian set up. Not really a set number, I will just schedule new clients until I feel my schedule is getting overwhelmed.

Best way to contact me is either messenger or if a current client you can text.

Hope everyone had a great holiday stretch!

New for 2025:
1.Payment must be made at the time of service (if you are not able to be at the appointment, the person you have appointed to meet with me must pay for you). I am very sorry, but I have been spending hours every month trying to get bills out to be paid and the same ones are not being paid month after month!

2. New policy for animals that are not ready for their appointment is as follows, I will either be rescheduling you or charging you an extra fee if I am waiting longer than a half hour. On average, I can add over an hour to each day waiting for multiple appointments! This also applies to horses that are not able to be restrained for injections or blood draws. Please ask for sedatives ahead of time to reduce the time it takes for you appointment if you know your horse does not like needles.

Thank you to all my clients, I hope to continue to be able to provide the best services to my abilities for many years to come!

I am integrating a new billing system. For any accounts receivable 90 days overdue there is an automatic monthly fee added starting November 1, 2024. If you are a client that has monthly payments set up for a balance please disregard the fee I will adjust it at the end of the year. If you are not receiving invoices and know you have a balance, please contact me ASAP on messenger to address the issue.

Thank you!

From August 11th to August 18th I will be at the UP State Fair with my son and his 4H project. There will be no routine veterinary visits for the week. I will be available for emergency calls only!!! Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.

06/10/2024

Attention all parents of 4H kids and fair projects. Numerous times this season I have gotten calls to treat sick market projects and a mysterious unlabelled syringe of medicine has been shown to me from the breeder or seller. Do not give your animal any medicine without checking out if it has the correct label and meat withholding to be used for your project!

Many times good intentions to help you out can put your child's project at risk for testing positive for medicine at the fair!!

Extra-label use for a medicine not listed as for your species or for that disease can test positive and disqualify it for the sale. Use your veterinarian as the resource, do not assume that something given will be ok for any type of fair. The test is more sensitive at the shows and could potentially cause issues.

05/21/2024

Until further notice I cannot accept any type of new clients. It is simply impossible to run close to 200 farm calls a month and sustain any type of sanity!!! After my 4th month of this pace I need to slow down.

Thank you for understanding and sorry for any inconvenience.

NEW effective immediately.

All after hours and weekend/holidays emergencies will be directed on my voicemail to contact another phone number. This new phone number will only be used for EMERGENCIES FOR CURRENT CLIENTS. Absolutely no messages will be responded to on the normal cell phone after 6 pm until 8 am weekdays and all hours on the weekends.

Current clients, please call the number that has been in use currently. The voicemail will direct you to call the emergency number. This number is only to be used in a situation that cannot wait until regular business hours. All after hours and weekend messages will be responded to as possible during next business day on the non-emergency number.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
