Dear Lil Ol' You,
You are smart enough, sweet enough, and strong enough.
Your style matters…but your character matters MOST.
You were created with a bright future in mind -
don’t let the world, and comparison of those in it,
dull your shine.
No one is like you.
No one will have your identical features, traits, or expressions.
No one will have your same hopes, dreams, or expectations.
No one will have your particular purpose, passion or pursuits.
Do you know why…?
You were planned, formed and made by the most beautiful Creator.
You were not an accident.
You were planned, formed and made for the most beautiful relationship.
You were not forgotten.
You were planned, formed and made uniquely of the universe’s Author.
You were not invisible.
God made you
Jesus saved you
Holy spirit helps you
Their words for you are written in love.
So let the lies knock you down;
so you can stand up slow,
toe-to-toe
with who you were made to be.
Jesus came to set you free.
God isn’t your enemy.
This is coming someone who felt, and lived like she was indeed:
an accident, forgotten and invisible…
But now I can tell you I wasn’t.
I overcame a lot of trash to be steadfastly in agreement
with the fact that I had a destiny to walk into.
And daily, God causes me to overcome and keep going.
My story looks a lot like the one in this video.
My story dares you give up on everything
….but God.
Sincerely,
Lil Ol' Me

Can your horse speak unicorn 🦄? (bec he pretty much is one?)
Pt2-2: anyway these two tweakers aren’t just being silly. They are showing herd behavior by letting each other get “it” (whatever it is) or of there system. This is the first time I’ve seen a horse do that kind of head up flip his tongue around move. But I also thought it was funny how Smudge held luckys shoulder hairs in his teeth till he annoyed him enough to get a reaction. 😐🤪🤔. Consider taking in your horses buddy horse during any body work/therapy type session and it will encourage them to let down and let all the pent up stuff OUT. Better now then under saddle.....
Pt.1 of 2 Not sure if anyone else finds this kind of thing as fascinating as I do. But maybe you will find it entertaining or educational. If and when you get your horse(s) worked on In some manner from some practitioner (vet, massage, chiro, dentist, body work) it’s in everyone’s best interest to margin out some “unwind” time for the horse. It can be stressful to have a practitioner visit but in addition whatever they are doing for the horse is most likely releasing or restoring their body in some form or level. Sooooo. Instead of just kicking them to pasture for a few days, bring them in and try a little body work to let the horses body and mind have the chance to process. Any time a horse can release tension from his mind he will release it in his body too ; visa versa.
I get by with a little help from my friends. Nothing feels greater than running on a horse who had a second chance, while listening to the sound of a supportive audience.

Like remaining ground-tied, on a vibrating machine, while your brother picks on you.
Position for outside training now open, LOL.

I've been workin on good vibrations...
You probably won't see anything cuter than two silly gelding's cuddled up on a EquiVibe Vibration Platform .
The awesome thing about horses is that they innately and instinctively want to feel healthy and safe. Think about it, it's their very means of survival! This video clip is a perfect example of that!
While I did teach the sorrel with the blaze how to ground tie on the Whole Body Vibration plate, the other horse was on his own mission. He untied himself from next door, meandered over to his pal, and hopped on the back of his platform!
And it's no exaggeration that horses feel safe with one and other, and thrive off of a social setting and environment. When one horse thrives another horse thrives, when one horse seems off - so does the rest of the herd. WHY?
Robert M. Miller explains this: " The Secret of Perception: Prey species (horses) must be more perceptive than predators if they are to survive. Horses are a prey species that live with the danger of being eaten by their predator enemies. They are programmed to be on the lookout for danger and are always prepared to flee from it in an instant. Inexperienced horsemen often fail to appreciate the extreme perceptivity of the horse. Horses have an uncanny ability to detect sensory stimuli that are far too vague for us to sense. We commonly interpret the flight reaction caused by the stimuli as “stupidity.” Horses are incredibly aware of their surroundings, so much so that people often misinterpret the horse’s reaction as “psychic” or the result of a “sixth sense.” However, the responses, which elicit such opinions, are caused by reactions to the same five senses we possess: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. What is difficult for us to identify with is the superiority of those senses in the horse and the swift flight reaction that a stimulus to those senses can provoke."
SO, when a horse perceives another horse is safe and benefiting from a healing modality he wouldact in an opposite fashion of flee
Turn a barrel horse loose and...?
Barrel Racing isn't the only fun you can have with your Ferrari you know... A liberty (no strings attached) focus with this horse has done him a WORLD of good. When I first bought him he had an 'innocent habit' of bolting away when the halter was slipped off, which was related to his previous owners demise. Winners pay attention to the little things, the details that most people wouldn't notice. The more your champion can feel connected to you, the more chance you have of staying competitive and being successful for the long haul!
