We had a fun last show of the year at the NJC Showdown! It was a blast to see old friends and compete in the NJC Alumni Class with some great competition!

Little miss Apple’s first day going over the bridge and it’s like she’s done it a million times! This cute little good-minded filly has about 20 rides and is going home to grow. We are excited to have the opportunity to have her back in the spring to continue her training!

We took a quick trip to Wheatland WY for the NRCHA Summer Days Futurity, Derby and Horse Show over the weekend and had a great show! RJKThisCatsaZinger ended up 3rd in the Open Derby bringing home a nice check!

RJKThisCatsAZinger had a great show last weekend in Cheyenne at the CoWN/WPHC Paintbrush Classic! It was a deep class of great horses and riders! We love the competition as it pushes us to keep getting better!

“Remmi” a 4 yr old by Chics Loaded Gun (by Colonels Smoking Gun) out of a Peppys Whiskey Doc mare. This was her 6th ride and 1st time out in the arena! Pretty mover, big stopper and a great mind! Ones like this are super fun!

It was a cold and windy day at the NJC Fallfest over the weekend but we still had fun!

Big World Lightning “Bugs” had his first show outing. We focused on it being good experience for him and helping him gain confident in the pen. Bugs even placed 2nd in the trail class which was a big class of Junior horses!

Miss Catherine rode Spirit in her first ranch horse show and won Reserve Champion in the All Around! She won the cowwork and was second in the trail with good scores in the other classes. Congratulations Catherine!

The NJC Fallfest closes out our 2023 show season. We are looking forward to what 2024 has in store!

“Bugs” is getting cooler by the day!

We had a great time in Loveland for the CoWN Fallfest! The classes were the deepest and toughest we’ve seen all show season!

RJKThisCatsAZinger was a blast in the cowwork and won the open! Riata was a little spicy in the reining with a couple penalties but still had an overall good run. Trail had fun new obstacles and ended up 7th out of 19. Pleasure had a few hiccups but still scored a 71.5! Overall Riata came out 3rd in the All Around!

Riata and Tara were second in the ranch riding jackpot with a 146 and won a few dollars back!

We also had fun in the AQHA open ranch riding and trail placing 5th & 7th.
