Fingers crossed we have a pair of BFFs in the making! Both Rookie and Ranger came to us as single piggies searching for a friend. After a brief quarantine, we decided to introduce these guys to each other to hopefully form a bonded pair! We do have single boys on occasion, but because guinea pigs are such social animals we do like them to have a friend sooner rather than later. As long as all goes well, they will be available in a few days!

It's Guinea Pig Appreciation Day, and these handsome boys would appreciate finding forever families! Castiel and Crowley and Bobby and Rufus are from our Supernatural group of piggies and 3 of them were actually born to Wheekin' Rad Rescue moms. These baby boys have literally grown up in rescue and would love to find their forever homes before their first birthday 🎂 Sadly, they really have not had anyone show any interest in them yet, depsite still being babies. Like most babies, they are still a little skiddish, but with a little patience we just know they'll be perfect piggies for the right person ❤️ if you are interested in adopting either pair send us a PM! We would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have!

We can't believe Johnny and Garth have been here an entire year now! Yes, they have some extra maintenance with their fur, but it's really not all that difficult and they are great for handling! These sweet boys hold the dreaded spot of longest residents here at Wheekin' Rad Rescue and we'd love to see them find their forever family soon

Johnny and Garth are the last of our music group piggies! A month from today will be their 1 year mark here at the rescue! We would love to see them adopted before that happens. These 2 handsome boys are approximately 1.5 years old now and although they do require some maintenance for their longer coats, they are really good boys about it! Johnny is more than happy to just sit on your lap while being blow dried, it really is the cutest thing! If you are interested in making these handsome guys yours send us a message!

Billy and Elton have been waiting almost an entire year to find their forever home! This sweet pair of boys is getting much better at accepting being handled now that they've attended a few events with us. We do recommend an enclosure with a top because they are cage climbers when they get scared. This handsome pair of boys has already had their adoption fee paid for so all they need now is a forever home! Check out our pretty Penny! Penny is probably THE sweetest piggie I've ever met! While she was getting some love and pets, a few of her adoptable friends decided they wanted some camera time too! Penny, Bernadette, Amy, Pancake, and Waffle are all still looking for their forever homes ❤️

Waffle is one of the sweetest little piggies! Despite having an entire room to run around she is always one of the first to greet me! Waffle and her sister Pancake are more than ready to find their forever home. Could it be with you?

Sunday is cage cleaning day! Meet our Rad adoptable piggies! Don't forget, this month is "Pick What You Pay" adoption fees for approved adopters in honor of National Adopt A Rescue Guinea Pig month!

Our pretty girl group ❤️ the majority of this group is on pregnancy watch, which is something we do for every female that comes in- regardless of where they came from, but they're just so pretty we wanted to show them off! Ginger and Cyndi are available for adoption and the rest of the girls will be ready to go in January! *Houses are being washed and will be added back in shortly!*

Chance hasn't been with us very long but he has already proven himself to be a very friendly and interactive piggie! He is sure to make his future family very happy!

Our music piggies are getting braver and braver about coming out when we come downstairs 🥰 aren't they the cutest?!?!?

Reason #1001 to adopt guinea pigs, this is how I'm greeted by my personal herd every morning! It's something I look forward to every day 🥰 Our available pigs are not this enthusiastic yet but are starting to come out and wheek for breakfast too! *JellyBean has a head tilt from an ear infection when she was a baby. The vet said at the time it could be permanent but it does not bother her 😊

*The guinea pigs shown in this video are NOT available for adoption* Hi everyone! With Wheekin' Rad Rescue still being so new, I figured I'd share with everyone how Wheekin' Rad came to be 😁 about 2 years ago I fell in love with a little brown and white guinea pig at the petstore. After some convincing my husband agreed to bringing home JellyBean and JJ. I absolutely fell in LOVE with guinea pigs and with them being social we were able to quickly and easily add in new herd members ❤️ some from the pet store, some rehomes from other people, 1 adoptee from Wheek Care Guinea Pig Rescue and a few rescued from feeder bins at reptile expos. Our herd quickly grew in size from 2 to 14! And that wasn't including our 2 pairs of boys 😂 in May we attended a reptile that broke my heart. 7 baby guinea pigs were huddled together in a feed bin. They were emaciated, had eye discharge (a few had their eyes crusted shut), upper respiratory infections, wormy bellies, and poop caked feet. I knew I wanted to help them but wasn't sure how I was going to be able to. My husband convinced me to go for it and we brought home all 7 to nurse back to health. 2 have been adopted, 2 stayed with us, 2 are still available for adoption, and 1 (the little light brown one with the white blaze down her face) is still with us until the end of her pregnancy watch after which she will be available for adoption. I realized that rescuing was something I wanted to continue to do and I couldn't continue if I kept everyone 😂 thus Wheekin' Rad Rescue was thought up and created! We currently have 14 guinea pigs available for adoption and a few more waiting to become available! Please give us a like or follow to support us continuing to grow and help more piggies!
