Security has failed!
The babies have breached the perimeter! 🤣
First adult noises from the emus! Era grunting her impatience with feeding time.
The newest little one is frisky this morning!
Oh....
Having sheep placentas just hanging around might be a bit of a problem 😅
I guess I can find and collect them and throw them into compost.
These are the most playful lambs I've ever seen!
There they are!
Congrats to first time mom, Joker, for this adorable new addition!
Me stalking the sheep blimps on my cameras...
Tri-guy is starting to challenge his dad a bit more these days.
The tricolor lamb has been sparring with Dad a lot lately. Dad's still going easy on him, for now.
Haven't done pics or vids of any of the reptiles in a while so here's my rescue croc, Sparx.
Sparx is, shockingly, around 7 years old! At this age he should be much bigger at around 5ft at least.... But he's barely breaking 3ft due to extreme neglect in his early life.
When we got Sparx he was a living stick figure of a crocodile... The owner claimed he was 2 years old but was still the size of a badly emaciated hatchling. He was being kept in a 10 gallon tank with no heating, no filter, no land area to crawl out on. Just fish gravel in the bottom and some sickly feeder fish in the water with him. Presumably this was his life for the two years before we got him.
He had a myriad of health problems and it took the better part of 2 years to get him free of infections and on the path to a healthier life. In the last 2 years he has finally really started to grow, bulk up and look like what a crocodile should actually look like.
As of now, he is healthy and growing! (Though such extreme neglect can have lasting effects so we're constantly monitoring his health)
