Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
To Alpha Litter and their pawsome families, a fun and yummy first Thanksgiving!
Cheers to everything that we are thankful for in this last year and the next. ❤️🐾
Super important reminder with Christmas fast approaching!
Most rawhide is made commercially and in some cases uses chemicals to bleach out hide that in itself is indigestible.
Safe alternatives for quick and easy edible gifts for your pup would be yak chews, dehydrated minnows, dehydrated chicken feet, dehydrated Turkey necks, and beef tracheas to name a few.
Happy shopping! 🐾🎁
Someone is 2! 🥳
Happy birthday to our own Novalilly! Over the past two years she has proven to be a resilient, strong, carefree girl that loves snuggles and playing with every animal she encounters!
Lilly is also now old enough to have all of her health testing. We will know by the end of the year if this little girl will be a good candidate for our program so let’s all wish her the happiest of birthdays!! ❤️
With the holiday fast approaching many are left wondering what’s safe to give our dogs when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner. Here we have listed a number of dos and don’ts that will allow you and your furry family to enjoy this bountiful holiday together. ❤️

Happy Halloween from Kyber Kennels!
This year Nyssaa is going as a unicorn and R2 as a shark and are super excited to make new friends and, of course, get a dog safe treat or two.
Remember to keep your pets safe this holiday and keep the sweets out of reach. 🎃👻💀🐾
Kyber Kennels emphasizes home readiness in all of their puppies well before go-home by empowering each and every one of them with confidence and experiences that will help them thrive as well as overcome difficulties alongside their families! It’s one of the ways Kyber Kennels sets itself apart from other Golden Retriever breeding programs ❤️
Here's your Sunday Social Media Share. . .
I build confidence in my puppies through intentional and purposeful curriculum and handling that aligns to sensitive developmental benchmarks. I believe in empowering them.
Happy fall from all of us here at Kyber Kennels!
Our favorite things about fall are the cooler weather, pumpkins and apples, and all the snuggles!
What’s your favorite thing about fall? 🍁
A small PSA from Kyber Kennels!
Recently we noted that our application process has been altered due to being tied to Good Dog. While we love Good Dog, this change has made our applications inaccessible to families seeking to get onto our waitlist for the 2023 litter roster and has made it difficult to relay information in regards to those waitlists.
For this reason, Kyber Kennels will be implementing a new application within the next week! The application will be similar to the original application but will send applications straight to our email. For anyone with questions or concerns the best way to reach us is by our email at [email protected]. We apologize for ang inconvenience this causes or has caused with any of our future families!
Happy National dog day! Let’s see some pics of your best friends doing what they love to do and let’s celebrate our love and affection for them today!!
Happy ❤️
Responsible breeding practices will also always take their puppies back regardless of age or circumstances because they are committed to the safety of their puppies and their families. Supporting responsible, ethical breeders means you support bringing a stop to overpopulation issues and halting the ‘over production’ of puppies in puppy mills and by irresponsible breeding practices to allow shelters and rescues to focus on the stray animals that truly need help. ❤️
Check in time!
Alpha litter is 4 months old and all of them are out living their best lives! Updates on a few have included photos and big life changes as they themselves grow into big, beautiful dogs alongside their families! Aadventures abound for all of them and we just love how they are thriving!
Great job Kyber Kennel families! We are so excited for all of you!! ❤️
Hey all!
We are firm believers in the power that microchipping our pets can have; microchips have the power to reunite families even in extremely unique circumstances! If you haven’t microchipped your pet, reach out to your vet for information, and as always ensure your chip information is up to date so your best friend can make it home!
52% of implanted microchips are never registered to owners due to hidden registration fees and outdated technology platforms. That is why Fi has built a microchip for the modern dog parent and made it FREE to register for everyone for life. Register your microchip with Fi Nano and you’ll be entered to win a free Fi GPS smart collar! Register here: nano.tryfi.com/register

Cheers to late summer!
We at Kyber Kennels have been super busy working with our newest addition and keeping up with all the ups and downs in the weather that updates have been slow going. We wanted to give a huge shout out to announce our upcoming litter plans for 2023! As of now Lilly is in line for her health testing to be completed in December and, should all go well there, we will be expecting not one but two litters come springtime! Our projected next litters are as follows:
Mallatobuck and Chewbacca
Novalilly and Chewbacca
Both will be on the roster for springtime with a Summertime go home time for our litters. If you or someone you know is interested in a future Kyber Kennels puppy our waitlist is currently open!
If interested, please apply on our website!
Hey all!
Checking in!!
Today was a great day to have some watermelon! Watermelon is one of those treats that they can’t get enough of. Fruit is another part of a dogs diet that is a nice bonus for the benefits they can provide them but knowing what is safe and what isn’t is absolutely essential.
Here is a short list of fruits that are considered dog safe (as always, in moderation of course!):
Blueberries (the best! Studies are finding they have cancer fighting properties!!)
Strawberries
Kiwi
Apples
Banana
Raspberries (cautiously, raspberries cannot be combined with calcium so this is a lesser eaten fruit)
Cantaloupe
Outside of this list, here are fruits you should avoid giving your dog:
Grapes (can be toxic even in small amounts, can cause anything from stomach upset to kidney failure)
Avocado (toxic, small parts of what is edible is okay but not in large portions; peel and pit are the most toxic)
Tomatoes (overly ripe is considered safest, any green causes severe stomach upset)
While it has been a little bit of a wait for everyone involved (due to technological hiccups we didn't anticipate), we wanted to share our go home photos of our amazing puppies and their families!
We wish every family the absolute best and all the adoration for each of them as they move forward with their next adventures with the little golden bundles in tow!
Let’s celebrate independence!
From our family to yours, have a fun filled and safe holiday ❤️🐾

It has been a week since go homes started and updates have been phenomenal! Our puppy parents have been flourishing and showing themselves to be amazing puppy owners and partners to their young additions! We couldn’t be more excited at everyone’s progress throughout the week meeting their challengers however small with enthusiasm and even reaching out to ask us questions if they weren’t sure what to do. In that week we have also made a big decision, that being to keep one of our own! Introducing R2-D2, once named Hoth, he has settled in enthusiastically and is working hard to become one with the pack! We have our ups and downs as well with potty training and impulse control but one thing that R2 definitely does well is stick by us all the time. We don’t have many moments in our home where we don’t know where he is and his natural heel is amazing for his age! We will be sharing photos of all of our pups on go home day soon (we have had a minor hiccup in the tech department) but another huge congratulations to all of our Kyber Kennels families! 🐾❤️
Day 60 and we are definitely prepared for these nuggets to arrive! Just a couple days left until we get to meet them, be sure to stick around for the big announcement!!
Day 40 Malla is definitely showing! Little mama is living it up getting supplements, multiple feedings per day, fresh cooked chicken and so much more. She deserves all of it, being the very best at growing those little ones inside and continuing to be an amazing girl that wants all the snuggles in the world. Waitlist is still open but slots are limited so we urge anyone interested to apply! ❤️🐾
So excited to announce this…we are expecting! Projected delivery window is end of April into early May and while we don’t have an official count the vet viewed at least 6-7 puppies. We are currently taking applications and our waitlist is open! Also, Malla did fantastic on the hour drive to the vet and was the center of so much of attention at the vet, such a great girl she is! Super excited for all to come! ❤️🐾
These two have been the tightest crew since they’ve come home to us and with the potential litter on the way they seem to have gotten closer. It’s moments like these that we absolutely love, snuggling up for bed and enjoying the warmth these guys give us physically and emotionally. ❤️🐾
Moving into the winter and our oldest goldens turning two, this video follows up a commentary on ethical breeding but provides some simple questions to help steer you in the direction of adding a puppy or dog to your household and limiting contributions to the overpopulation issue. Ethical breeding is the surefire way to cut back on backyard breeding and crowded shelters, but how? It starts with us, the prospective dog owners, asking the right questions! #adoptorshopresponsibly
Day 2 - learning their motivations. Lilly is only 8 weeks old as of yesterday, puppies at this age are still gaining their senses so to speak and are thrown into a totally new environment than what they’ve known up until now. She has only had experience with her food, treats and other foods are exciting as is engaging with new dogs like ours. For this reason, the next few days will cover introducing her to schedules and me familiarizing myself with her to optimize our training efforts. Each of our dogs have done the same thing, Nyssaa is attention motivated as is Solo, while Chewie is almost entirely food motivated; Malla is our wild card and works for both which made training her super easy and difficult at the same time. As of now Lilly does come to her name and is responsive to kissing noises.
