Red (A341656) is one handsome hunk! He’s listed as a 2-year-old red mastiff/lab mix and weighs about 50 pounds.
Red was previously owned by a homeless man who passed away and he was found roaming the streets of Stockton with his sister. They were brought into the shelter together and are now looking for their forever homes!
Red is a low-key sweet boy with a very soft demeanor. He’s very easy to handle and is an absolute pleaser; he just wants to be loved and make his people happy.
He’s a good candidate for a home with cats, but recommend slow introduction.

Meet Baxter aka Azul (A294551).
Life has not been kind to this 4-year-old German Shepherd pup. He first came to the shelter a while ago, beaten and terrified. He ended up leaping out of his kennel and running home…to a family who no longer wanted him.
So he lived on the streets and was beaten some more. He eventually came back to the shelter as an injured stray. He received medical care and entropion surgery for his eyes - a procedure that realigns inward-turning eyelids to their normal position.
He’s now recovering in a foster home - but his journey is not over yet. Baxter is still in need a forever home. Can you please help this sweet, deserving boy find a family to love him and never let him go?

Frozen treats: Whip up some pet-friendly ice treats. Frozen broth cubes, watermelon or a stuffed frozen Kong can be both cooling and entertaining!
Don't leave your pup in the car: if it's 75F or hotter outside, it can take less than 10 minutes for your car to heat up to 100F+!
