Next up on our introduction list is Rosco. Our gentle giant. We no longer have him but my older students all know him. He was the horse that could do whatever level you wanted. He could be fast or he could go slow. He loved running gymkhana he would dance his entire way into the arena until you let him run. He taught so many of my kids how to let go and get faster. Built up confidence like you wouldn’t believe. He loved to swim at Woodward and he HATED the roping dummy. He was the horse literally anyone could ride. We miss him. Second introduction is the one and only Buddy boy. 💕 Our Old Man. He left us in May but we got him the same day as windy.

Not a lot of my current kids got to ride him but all of my original people did. And anyone who rode with me knew who he was. He was the do everything horse. But at the Same time the pain in the but give you a run for your money horse. He would test you and push you but he would ALWAYS take care of you. He was a lot of firsts for a lot of kids. We miss him every single day. Jennifer’s first horse, Lizzys first lope, Hay’s first Gynkhana and the list continues. There was nothing that boy couldn’t do. Lived a long and happy life and went so very peaceful. He will always be our old man. Share your favorite pictures or your favorite memory in the comments.

Saw another lesson friend do this and I am stealing her idea. I’m going to introduce you to every single one of my lesson horses even the ones who we no longer have.

Windy. My very first lesson horse. If you have ever rode with me you know my girl. She is the hardest one I ever trained and believe it or not in her day was the craziest I owned. She has turned out to be the sweetest, softest, and easiest horse. She will baby sit anyone you put on her back. If you want to go fast as long as you make her do it she will, if you want to go slow she’s okay with that to. With a lot of work and patience and a lot of help anyone now can take her on trail, can take her in a parade, and can even clip her to make her look pretty. She will carry a flag, she will dress up in any ridiculous costume you want to try. She was a drill horse, a Gymkhana horse, a trail horse, a play day horse, a rope horse And she has stolen the hearts of every single person who rides her. She is my first girl and will forever hold the biggest piece of my heart. Please comment your favorite Memory or picture of my girl so everyone can see.

We are looking for an individual whom is a mentor to others, that is supportive of all, someone who is kind, courageous, and exhibits exceptional horsemanship along with good sportsmanship. This person can be in any equine discipline, a trainer, stockmen, parent, barrel racer, or roper.

Nominee doesn't have to be present to receive the buckle, we will get it to them.

Two days down. Had another super fun group this go around the kids are loving it. If you havnt tried it and are thinking about it sign your kid up. You can NEVER go wrong teaching them how to ride a horse.

Last chunk of lesson uploads for now. Feel free to please share any photos trying to build my lesson program to be even bigger then it already is. I think in these photos you will see how much these kids get to experience. You can see the love and the attatchment and the friendships they build. But most importantly I know I can see how much I love what I do and how much I truly love and am attached to all of my kids 🩷
