Thankful Day 23

Today we’re thankful for the pets who make us laugh, challenge us, keep us on our toes, and brighten our days. The wiggly butts, the spicy cats, the nervous nellies, the sweet seniors—every single one of them brings something special through our doors. Our job is better because of them.

✨ Thankful Day 22 — And that’s a wrap! ✨

Today was an incredible day of impact. Partnered with Dooly’s Fund, we were able to spay or neuter 36 cats and dogs in one single day! 🐾💙

We’re exhausted in the best way… and so grateful.

Why Spaying & Neutering Matters:

Every surgery today wasn’t just a procedure — it was a step toward a healthier, safer community for pets. Here’s why these surgeries are so important:

🐶 Prevents unwanted litters
Just one unaltered dog or cat can contribute to hundreds of animals over time. Spaying/neutering helps reduce overcrowding in shelters and decreases the number of homeless pets.

🐱 Supports long-term health
Spaying females helps prevent pyometra (a life-threatening uterine infection) and significantly reduces the risk of breast cancer.
Neutering males decreases prostate issues and removes the risk of testicular cancer.

💛 Reduces roaming & risky behavior
Unaltered pets are far more likely to roam, fight, or escape to find mates. After being fixed, they’re typically calmer, safer, and less likely to get injured.

🏡 Improves behavior
Neutered males often show fewer marking, mounting, and aggression behaviors. It’s not a cure-all, but it certainly helps!

✨ Better for pets. Better for families. Better for the community.
We are so thankful for Dooly’s Fund and for every owner who brought their pet in today. Together, we’re making a difference—one spay/neuter at a time.

✨ Thankful Day 21 ✨

Today we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Serenity Pet Cremation. ❤️

End-of-life care is one of the hardest parts of what we do, and we truly could not walk families through those moments without the compassion and partnership of the Serenity team. They are gentle, kind, thoughtful, and always treat every beloved pet with the dignity and respect they deserve.

For our clients who choose cremation, Serenity Pet Cremation provides a beautiful and heartfelt service that brings comfort during some of the heaviest days. We are so thankful for the way they support our clinic, our families, and the pets we love so deeply. 🐾🌈
