@ecollartechnologies today I’m doing some more work with Nova in the yard working his recall. As you can see you don’t need to use the ecollar all the time. If you train it the right way you should rarely need to use it. This is realistic training for the everyday dog owner. Ecollar work with recall and heeling. Nova is doing fantastic with his off leash obedience. Having a solid understanding of how to communicate with your dog will allow you develop more advanced obedience in a shorter amount of time. Nepopo(r) allows me to talk to any dog with a common language ✌️. Once your dog learns how to turn off environmental pressure and receives a reward. It will continue to find its advantage in turning off pressure even faster👍. 💥Rugar learning to turn E-Collar stimulus off💥 The reason why E-collars have such a negative reputation is because people throw it on a dog, turn the stim up, and start blasting them. The problem with that is, the dog has no idea why the stimulus is being activated or how to turn it off. We show the dog how to work through a low stim. By understanding on leash obedience, we add the E-collar pressure and they turn it off by completing the task. The dog will learn, the faster they do the task, the faster they turn off the pressure. After numerous repetitions of clear communication, we can then use it as a correction tool. In a chaotic enviorment if your dog were to not obey, you can turn the heat up and they will know exactly how to turn it off. (Pay attention to the red light on the receiver and remote, once he does the task, it turns off🐾 #DogTrainer

Zero has refused to walk down stairs I’ve the last few months. He has a fear of going down them so today we helped show him he had nothing to be afraid. Sometimes dog training can tug at your heart strings. Nobody likes hearing a dog scream or whine while training. We have to help the dogs 🐶 by letting them know it’s ok and we got their back. Instead of letting zero flee and run away when coming down the stairs so made him hang out out with me and rewarded him for his efforts through the process. His owners can’t keep carrying downstairs for the rest of his life. He is 55lbs at 5 months old. Sometime our guidance and leadership is all the dog needs to overcome their fears and become more confident. I’m extremely happy with yesterdays session ! His owners did great and I can’t wait to se this continued success. Angel is young 🐶 she did a 2 hr in home session with me a few weeks ago and was fantastic. Now she is here for a short board and train to get the basics cleaned up and start adding in the 3 D’s (Distance , Duration , Distraction) we free shaped place day 1 and on day 3 we are doing it on multiple beds and elevations. This command is very powerful for the average dog owner. If you can have your dog go to a place and stay their until released, you will have more freedom in your household. No worrying about charging the door, jumping on guests and stressing you out. This also gives you the ability to have them stay in one spot while you relax on the couch or cook dinner. Working on Kaiser’s reactivity as well as his housemate Gerber. Kaiser has been doing great on his own but his big brother has been triggering him when they are both out. I found out Gerber was being walked on a harness and as soon as we made the the equipment change to a slip leash he was a different dog @slipleashes. I’m not using prongs or ecollars off the rip to fix these issues. It takes practice and patience with the right tools to get the results. By no means is this completely fixed. This was our first time doing this all together. In a multi dog household each dog has to have the same guidance in order to be successful. Getting small dogs to down can be very challenging for most dog owners. Whats great about using the Nepopo system is it allows you to think outside of the box from traditional training methods. #1 mistake dog owners make is giving their dog too much freedom too fast. This is a 6lb 5 month old puppy. He is very shy of new people and takes sometime to bond with. His owner asked if he should be out during the Super Bowl party she is having. I said absolutely not. If you are not going to have eyes on that dog the whole time it will only create problems for you. Examples - He pees/poops on the floor, too much stimulation from the people and he gets scared or becomes reactive, people giving him food, or he starts chewing on things, list goes on…. You can avoid your dog learning bad habits or behaviors by simply putting them in a crate or pen. The majority of dog owners give their dogs way too much freedom to early and it’s creates a mess down the line. I’m absolutely loving the criticism on FB regarding my ecollar conditioning. I took a situation of my dog digging into my legs and crotch and turned it into an opportunity to have her excel at the obedience we were working on. I thought outside of the box 📦 and accomplished my goal in one day. Dare to do baby 🙋‍♂️. To some it looked immature and gross what my dog was doing. To me I realized it motivated her to stay in behavior. I began to encourage it. In less than 15 min of total training in one day my dog is dressing herself with an ecollar with heart and soul. Just because the most people “Don’t get it” Doesn’t mean you have to feel discouraged. I really appreciate @forthedogs for what you have done. I struggled for years to even post videos on social media and it wasn’t until the last few months that your videos helped me break out and feel confident again. Prong collar placement is crucial for clear communication with your dog. If it’s low and loose around the dogs neck it will create frustration and pulling. If its high and tight it allows you to use minimal pressure to handle your dog. 2.25mm is the go to for the majority of dogs. Ranger is boxer who I trained as a puppy. I worked ecollar with him and taught him alot of off leash obedience. His owners are older and have tough time handling him. When I walked in I asked why they haven’t been using the ecollar? They didn’t have an answer for me and that’s ok . What I reminded them was the purpose of me training that dog off leash was so they could control him. He is a strong dog and he broke his owners arm last summer while she was walking him. Don’t be shy to use the tools with your dog. Your dog shows no remorse for hurting your or destroying things. We have to have clear communication with the dog and if your unable to control and handle the leash , the ecollar is a must have to establish communication with your dog. He crushed his session with me tonight. His owners needed guidance on what to work on when people came to the house. We established some new rules and boundaries with the leash and ecollar. It was good to see him again.
