Hi, I’m Shay! I offer grooming services for dogs of all sizes. I love my clients' dogs like I love my own. I grew up in the country with all kinds of animals.

With compassion and patience, I provide a service you can trust to ensure your pup feels safe, loved, and pampered every visit. Chickens, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, geese sent straight from the devil, cats, snakes, horses, a cow here and there, ferrets, hedgehogs, even a couple of doves at one point. Aside from horses, one constant in our lives was always having at least one dog around, usually two

or three. The first two I remember are our chihuahua, Munchkin, and my dad’s amazing Chesapeake retriever, Mo. Munchy tolerated us, but Mo loved her little girls almost as much as she loved hunting with my dad. I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and every time we’ve lost one, they’ve taken a piece of my heart with them. For several years now, I’ve dreamed of being able to spend my days working with dogs, whether that’s grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, or maybe someday even training. While I’m not there yet, starting this business is a step in the right direction.

How cute is this pair? Ollie and Theo came to see me for the first time tonight, and gosh are they sweet. They’re squeaky clean and have fresh new hairdos, bring on the holidays!

Bloat is a serious condition that can occur quickly.

Surgical prevention is addressed below, here are some other commonly suggested methods of prevention:
- Feed your dog smaller, more frequent meals. This can be especially helpful if your dog eats too quickly.
- Consider trying a slow feeder if feeding your dog more frequently isn't a good option.
- Avoid vigorous exercise immediately after meals.

Let’s talk grooming tools

If you’ve got a short haired shedder, these rubber or silicone curry brushes are going to be your best friend. You can use them on wet or dry fur, and they really help loosen up and pull out a bunch of that canine confetti that would otherwise end up on your couch.

There are many brands to choose from, my red one is made by Kong and I don’t even remember where the other two came from.

How precious are these two girls!? 😍 Febi and Nellie are fresh and clean and ready to face the weekend. I immediately fell in love with these two, and because small dogs take small amounts of time to bathe, it meant I had more time for loving on them 💕

Gator came to see me for the first time tonight, and my gosh did we have a blast. He’s my first English bulldog client, and just look at that face 😍 I got the cutest video of towel time and his happy grumbles, he’s such a character!

He’s such a sweet soul and I just love seeing his personality develop as he grows up 💕

Bernard brought his new little sister along for their appointment tonight, I think his face sums up how he felt about it 🤣 Between the two of them, I wasn’t short on love. Bernard decided his whole nose belonged in my mouth while I was trying to towel dry Miss We**ie, guess that’s what I get for talking to them while I work 😅

I just love the glory of Koda’s winter fluff. I got some sass during his towel dry and some excited barking when it was time to go wait for his ride. I tried to catch how shiny he is while we waited, I just love seeing the results of my favorite shampoo on dark dogs 😍
