We've always found hounds and pitties to make great friends, and Rusty and Kahlua are no exception! Rusty is an excellent playmate for other female dogs, equal parts goofy and sweet. Kahlua, being a teenager, is still learning boundaries and Rusty is a patient and fun teacher!

Adoptable duo Gordo and Pelua have a secret to share...the reason they yell at other dogs on their walks is because they are scared of them. This may not be a surprise to many, but we'll let them think we bought their act! With the help of the staff and other polite dogs (like Scrappy) they've been learning to work through their fears. We can finally say we feel they could share a home with another dog, but not just any dog! Any doggy roommate will need to be respectful of their boundaries, at least a little chill, and not too rough a player since Pelua does enjoy some gentle, but silly, playtime!
