🧡Pup of the Week💛

It's my working girl Nova! 😄 We're training today, but I took a break to snap a few of her on this beautiful fall day. Weekly maintenance is important for this profession but it's equally important for the everyday owner. Consistency!

🐺 Another great adoption/work dog opportunity! 🐺

"Zeus" is a 2-3 year old Dutch Shepherd, was a stray drop off and his 10 day hold is over making him available.

I tested him today for work purposes. He has medium drive for ball and nose work. Any agency looking for a single purpose detection K9 and willing to put in a little bit of effort to build his drive will have a home run with this pup. He is not possessive or aggressive, has some basic obedience, good with obstacles and environment and has a TON of energy.

If you're not looking for a detection K9, he'd make a stellar pet also. He's been great with the ladies at the shelter and with me today handling his leash as a perfect stranger.

**Pup of the Week**

"Freyja" is a 8 month old Boerboel. She's a gentle giant for sure! She's just a puppy and has been working on all the basics. After only 5 sessions, she has a great sit, down, follows on leash well and is performing timed stays. 🐺🧡

💞 🐺Pup for Adoption 🐺💞

Addie is a 2 year old Mali/Shepherd mix. She's currently at Isle of Wight Animal Control. I have personally tested her twice and just came from a visit with her today.

She's VERY loving and affectionate. Has a sit, down and out command, follows on leash well and is very treat motivated.

Why is she still there? Well, I've been told she took out someone's chickens and is a little jealous of other dogs. She's also a Houdini (escape artist). That escape is not to run away, it's to get to her person for affection.

She's been labeled as a single dog home, but I can tell you that I tested for that today as well and there is a tremendous amount of room for progress and her potential to mitigate that with some consistency and acclamation.

***ME AND MY K9 UNIT ARE OFFERING TO PAY FOR ALL HER ADOPTION FEES AND I'LL DONATE HER TRAINING SESSIONS FOR FREE.***

Maverick is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd. He's Rylee's brother, so now it's a family affair! They're polar opposites, but that can be a good thing. Balance comes in all forms. 🐺🐺

**Pup of the Week**

Maverick is a 1 year old German Shepherd. He's working on a lot of control, basic commands and recall. Mav has a lot of energy and we're putting it to good use. 🐺😄💚 He's only had 2 sessions and already showing great progress.

Eva is a 14 month old German Shepherd. She's been working on reactivity issues, especially with other dogs. Today's session was certainly a success! I'm very proud of this sweet girl. 💜🐺💜

** Pup of the Week **

This was only Olive's 2nd session. She did so well with following on leash and control commands that we gave her a chance to try off leash. Phenomenal first go! So proud of her. 💜

Olive is a 3 year old, Lab/Rottie mix. She's just so smart. It helps that her favorite reward is her handler, physical touch and voice. 🐺

Cooper is an 8 month old Yellow Lab. He's full of puppy energy and loves attention. 🐺

Cooper is working on...EVERYTHING! 😄 He's a puppy, what did you expect?! He had a fantastic first day and I see great progress, quickly, for him. 💚

First day at the new training location!

I certainly don't mind getting sweaty, hot, cold or rained on when dog training....but it's sure nice when we don't. 😄🐺

These are still one-on-one sessions with individualized attention.

🐺 Warpath Customers 🐺

The heat has been brutal lately and the storms are hit and miss. 🥵⛈️

If any of you are interested in a climate controlled environment for training, we now have it in the town of Windsor!

Those that still prefer "at home" sessions, we're still on. This will just be another option I have available for those who might prefer to stay cool and dry. 😜

**Pup of the Week**

Jewells is a 6 month old Belgian Malinois who is working on all the basics. Obedience, control commands, leash control, recall and stay.

Lord knows I love a Malinois! It helps that she's so stinking cute. This is going to be a lot of fun. 🥰🐺

🎇Pup of the Week🎇

Suki is 9 months old and full of energy! She already has a wonderful obedience base set by her handlers. Suki is working on harnessing her energy (jumping up), pulling on lead, toy possession and getting her ready for some hiking field trips. She really is wonderful!

**Pup of the Week**

Brody is a 6 mo old Golden Retreiever. He has a such a nice temperament already! We're working on not pulling, reinforcing obedience commands and harnessing his puppy energy so he can begin field trips out to public events. 🦮💙

From this weekends demos. Toys for Tots and Bark in the Park. 🐺

GEORGE! What a great day for this boy! His stay has progressed amazingly. He's now downing and staying for over 2 minutes with verbal reinforcement. Today's walk had zero pulling and had all sorts of distractions, including an entire lawn company in our way and neighbors coming out to speak to his handlers. All this credit goes to his handlers who keep up on his homework between sessions. Amazing work by all! 🐺🥳💚

* Today's Session* Domino was returned this week, at no fault of his own. The adopters had an abrupt and unexpected life event. 😔 I began my sessions with him again this morning. He needed a little cleaning up, but by the end here we are! 🙌 Sitting, following, 3 different speed paces, turns, and a great down. He's back up for adoption. Reach out to me or his rescue if you have a space in your home for this wonderful boy. 🐺 Paws 2 Rescue

"Bas" has had major issues with objects and strangers since we've met. This included people carrying objects of any sort. His mom couldn't even carry her purse around him without Bas darting away. It's been a successful month, slowly acclimating him one session at a time. This was the result and true test! Aldi's parking lot with plenty of people, bags and loud carts. I'd say he passed with flying colors! I'm so proud of Bas and Ms. Phillips! 🤗

Basquiat is one of my advanced students. Here, we were fine tuning his following on lead at different speeds. Bas had a tendency to forge ahead and/or cross in front occasionally. We fixed it all in less than one session! Ms Phillips really stays on top of his training between sessions and it shows! 🐺
