Hi Everyone,

This post is to let everyone know that we are now moved to our new location. We will be updating our website soon as what we will be offering. Right now we are going to be offering pony rides and lessons to start soon. Will be posting opening dates soon. Please keep in mind that we are doing some repair work so please don't mind how our new place looks. We have updated our about info on here to show new phone number and address. We hope we will have returning customers that have been coming to us before we moved. We will be posting pictures soon too.

This post is to let everyone know that the last day for rides located at Graves Mountain Lodge with be Sunday, December 18, 2022. Circle B Stable is moving to a new location. We will update you on the new location as soon as we complete the move and have everything ready to do rides. We hope that everyone who has come and rode with us has enjoyed your experience and we hope that you will come see us at our new location!!

Hi Everyone,

We are making a few changes to a couple of our rides. Effective immediately our all day rides will be $250 per person with a $50 non-refundable deposit per person.

Our overnight camping rides will be $350 per person with a $100 non-refundable deposit per person. Also the time will change to customers being at the barn at 12 Noon the day of there ride for the overnight camping.

This is for the ones that have already booked stalls before our new system went live. You do NOT need to book online as you have already talked with Circle B Stable and have taken care of your stall fees. You will still have your stalls for the dates you need them.

Hi Everyone,

We have a new system in place. This system will allow you to book horseback rides and stalls online. The link to be able to do that is www.gravesmountainfarmandlodges.getomnify.com. Please remember that stalls are an additional charge and are non refundable. If you are staying in the camp field when you get stalls you still have to pay the camping rate per horse.

Hi Everyone,

Starting April 1, 2022 the camp field rates will increase. The rate for camping with horses will go from $15 to $18 per horse. Day parking will go from $10 to $12. Tent camping will go from $10 to $12 per 16 and older. Children ages 11 to 15 will go from $5 to $6 per child. Children 10 and under are still free.

Anything that has to do with horses or the camp field and stalls needs to go through Eddie or Leah at the barn. Sending messages to anyone else for anything to do with the horses and camp field is not acceptable!

The Horsemanship Camps will not take place this year. We hope to have them next year. With Covid-19 just starting to clear up we feel it is best to wait until next year before doing the horsemanship camps.

Hi everyone,

Here is the post for the Campground to open.

The Graves Mountain Primitive Campground will be opening this Friday, May 15, 2020 with the following mandatory requirements as stated by the Governor of Virginia.

Lodging is available in Lodge Rooms or Cabins, the Graves Mountain Lodge Restaurant is closed at this time. Syria Mercantile has many food options available. On Saturday & Sunday we will be having Food Specials at Syria Mercantile--we will post those on Facebook later this week.

Phase I: Private campgrounds must either implement the following mandatory requirements or close. Overnight summer camps must remain closed in Phase I.
Mandatory Requirements
Businesses must strictly adhere to the physical distancing guidelines, enhanced cleaning and disinfection practices, and enhanced workplace safety practices provided in the “Guidelines for All Business Sectors” document. They must also adhere to the following additional requirements:
Post signage at the entrance that states that no one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days, is permitted in the establishment.
Post signage to provide public health reminders regarding physical distancing, gatherings, options for high risk individuals, and staying home if sick (samples at bottom of this document).
All lots rented for short term stays of less than 14 nights (and not owned by individuals) must maintain a minimum of 20 feet between units.
All common areas that encourage gathering must remain closed such as pavilions, gazebos, picnic areas, etc.
No physical sharing of recreation or sports equipment unless it is cleaned and disinfected with an EPA-approved disinfectant.
No day passes or visitors. Only persons listed on the registration are allowed on the property.
It is recommended that campgrounds strongly encourage customers to wear face coverings over their nose and mouth.
No gatherings of greater than 10 people in one location.
On site retail, recreation and fitness, cabins, and food establishments must follow the requirements and guidelines specific to those establishments.
Employees working in customer-facing areas are required to wear face coverings over their nose and mouth, such as using CDC Use of Cloth Face Coverings guidance.
Provide hand washing in bath houses or sanitizing stations for guests and employees.

Hi everyone,
I know you are all wondering about the campground and as of right now it is still closed to camping!! The governor should be giving specifics about opening up as this week goes on as the question about campgrounds was asked. He has extended the order to May 14, 2020 with updates to come. He did not specify about the campgrounds clearly enough for us to say that we can open by May 15, 2020 or not. As we get more information we will post it!!

We are just as anxious as you all are to be able to open our campground back up, but until it is clarified by Governor Northam, we are still closed until further notice!!
