We create rope halters, leads, reins, and slobber straps as well as other customized leather products for the rider that wants their horse to stand out from the herd. We also take horse hair and make zipper pulls, shu-flys, and key rings to create a rememberance of a once loved horse, or use horse hair that we purchase. It's starting to get dark earlier and horses are getting ready for Winter. Cortisol levels rise telling them to hold onto weight. They've started shedding Summer coats and eating more forage to prepare their bodies to grow more hair and put on weight to get ready for the cold months. This is normal, but if your horse has metabolic issues and is on pasture, it might be time to pull out your Freedom Feeders and head for dry lot with a low NSC hay. 🐴🍂
