We will OFFICIALLY be starting up again next week and our first horse will be with us soon!!!
I can't wait to start doing the things I love again ❤️ this rescue means so much to me and I'm more then happy and proud that I'm able to pay for all of this on my own earnings from my outside job.
I may start doing donations eventually so I can start rescuing more because the property we will be at is plenty big to take more horses in then I've ever been able to! 😄
So so happy and blessed beyond words ❤️❤️❤️

We have relocated to ND
Due to the relocation we will be taking a break from rescuing because we are living in town again.
Hopefully I will be able to start rescuing again in the next couple of years.
We are saving up for a large farm to be able to expand our rescue and help more animals ❤️ thank you for the support of everyone and I can not WAIT to start up again 😊

These girls get to be in the big pasture now! Quarantine is over and they're ready to start working.

Cookie is doing so much better and needs to get muscle strength back on her hind quarters. She is blind in the one eye and can only see shadows but that doesn't stop her from flirting with all my gelding and acting like she's the boss lol

Unfortunately Honey more then likely had choked so much so often from wherever she was at that she has done permanent damage to her throat. She eats and drinks perfectly fine but she has constant foam running from her nose. I will start her on a few things that will hopefully help sooth the pain and stop the foaming but if I find something that works for her, she will always need to be on it to prevent further damage and help her through the rest of her life.

I don't show very much of this when we get new horses in, but this is very common if not mild for what we have to deal with to get these horses back to healthy standings.
Honey has a respiratory infection that has gone without help.
Cookie has lyme disease and Ehrlichia. She has horrible control of her back end and acts dizzy.
Hopefully both girls will have a fill recovery 😊❤️

She came to us on June 25th.
She unfortunately has a possible neurological problem. What it's related to is unknown. But she has a vet appointment on June 28th to get her tested for a few things.
She is very sweet but scared. But she has been kind and never offered to bite, kick or freak out. The only time she is afraid is when I reach for her face to quick or try and mess with her mouth.
Hopefully we can help this girl feel better and not be so scared ❤️

Honey ❤️

This little lady is SOOOOO incredibly sweet. I can't express enough how kind this girls is and well mannered. She came to us June 25th and has a vet appointment for June 28th.
When was loading her onto the trailer she was breath VERY ragged and sounded like she might have pneumonia. Once unloaded at home she started to drain white foam from her nose. I was very concerned for her so I let her have some wet down hay, LOTS of water. Amazingly, the next day and the day after she hasn't shown any signs of a respiratory infection. She will still have a vet appointment to get shots and evaluation.
She's; what looks like, around 12-15. Broke to ride and again SOOOO sweet and gentle. She enjoyed my kids company whenever we go to feed and fill water.
Wish her luck! We'll have her for a bit to make sure she puts some weight on ❤️

It's very heartbreak; as a small rescue who pays for everything and never ask for help. To; for once, ask for help. And then for people to judge and attack us. We aren't backed and don't do fundraisers.
We pay for everything out of pocket and work hard for what we have and to get where we are. It's all so we can help these horses.

Thank you friends and family for sharing the post about our barn. Unfortunately no one is able or willing to help which is OK! We have figured out the best course of action for the horses, animals and us on the farm 😁

Fortunately we found someone who will be taking the barn down next week. Everyone is locked out and away from the barn to keep everyone safe.
We have a few shelters we put up for temporary shelter and in the next few months we will be building our own barn with friends and family! It'll be a fun and educational experience for all of us 😊

Super excited! And no matter what I will continue to work with horses and save and help as many as we possibly can each year.

I'm also excited to say I have been excepted into the TIP training program and will hopefully be getting my FIRST MUSTANG SOON! Wish me luck and I'm so so so SOOOOOO happy to be where I am with horses and happy I am able to help my rescues and help mustangs now as well ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you everyone that has been here and has been helpful and kind through this process. It's been hard at times but I've gotten to the point that no matter what anyone says; I AM THE ONE RESCUING and not the people making side comments. Not the people putting me down. I'm the one making a difference.

We are in a VERY hard position right now. My barn is completely destroyed from the storms that came through and the insurance money is hardly going to cover the removal of the building.
We need help. Quickly to get something set up for our animals so they aren't left out in the elements.

The gelding we rescued last year had choked again just before Christmas.
These are the hard times of having rescues AND him being a senior and underweight STILL, causes a lot of stress.
After trying to fix the choke at home and NOTHING working, we had to made a vet trip in the early morning.
THANKFULLY he is choke free and doing great! He's all bundled up in the snow and we can't be more thankful to Shuffett Animal Clinic for allowing us to come in last minute and help us deal with this problem before it got past the point of no return ❤️

We've officially moved to KENTUCKY ❤️
The reason I got into rescuing is because of Horse Rescue Heroes
And so far the past 3 years we've rescued around 25 horses.
Unfortunately not all of them were able to be rehomed but we do what's best for the horse ❤️
So excited to continue what we do! 😁

15-18 year old Stud
This big beautiful boy is an easy keeper.
He's nervous and is hard to catch. If you have treats or grain he's a bit easier to catch.
Once caught he's VERRY easy to lead around and does anything I ask. He gets nervous at quick movements but is getting better. If you quickly redirect him he comes right back and listens to everything you tell him.
Teaching him to lunge on both sides and he's taking to it quickly.
He's dog safe and has never done anything stupid to small animals. He's a very gentle stud.
He's a proven stud and I have a photo of one of his baby as well if interested. He throws very beautiful buckskin babys.
Needs someone to love him and finish him out! ❤️❤️

FOR SURE IS AN EX TRAIL HORSE
I've ridden her twice, once ba****ck and the other time with a saddle on, in the round pen and with another horse.
She's nervous when you go to mount her but once you're on she does pretty good. She didn't buck, kick or bite on me.
Pretty easy to saddle her (she moves a bit but easy to fix)
I've lunged her both ways and she seems like she knows what she's doing when it comes to that, obviously still needs improvement but at least she knows it.
She just had her front feet trimmed about 2 weeks ago but we couldn't do her back, she needs more time to get used to people touching her back feet.
She'll walk right up to me most times and I'm able to grab her halter but she can toss her head up most times once she's caught. After she does it a couple times and you don't let go then she'll fallow you all over the place. Once the lead rope is on she stops doing it.
She stands tide no problem and she loads onto my 2 horse no problem as well (I swear she likes the trailer more then being outside with everyone)
OFFICIAL MEASUREMENT AND HIGHT. She's 15.1HH she has weight to gain still so once she's filled out she'll be 15.2hh EASY and she's actually only around 8 years old!

**Second Update**
She takes a saddle, we are pretty sure was previously used for trail rides. She fallows other horses no problem but needs more miles to become confident riding off on her own :)

She's opened up a LOT. Very easily motivated by treats and food. Comes to meet me at the fence every time I come outside. I can pet her face and all the way down her neck and on her back on BOTH sides. Very vocal girl
