Hiya xx I'm Lily, a mum of two(three if you count the husband!). We've currently got three lovely animals in our home: a sassy cat, a grumpy old lizard, and a very enthusiastic dog. I've always loved and had a special connection with animals, so I decided to do something with it.
They say if you love your job, you never work a day in your life. I never really understood how true that could be until I started pet sitting. It started out as a favour for a neighbour or friend when I was young, and then I realised how much I enjoyed getting to know everyone's furry family members.
I've spent a good deal of time volunteering at different animal shelters like Blue Cross, which only confirmed for me how much I wanted to make this a big part of my life. If it also helps pay for the astonishing amount of easy peelers and bananas my 2 year old gets through, then that's a bonus in itself.
I don't mind at all what type of furry, scaly, feathery creature you've got. I've cared for a good variety of animals, and I am always eager to look after someone new.
With the plethora of family members in my home, I don't offer animal boarding in my own home. My specialty is, you guessed it, pop ins to your home to care for your little(or not so little) loved one in their familiar and comfortable setting. I find there's much less fuss and anxiety when your pet has to adapt to less change. Meeting and trusting a new person is already a lot. That's why I usually prefer to arrange a meet and greet so you and your pet can become familiar with me. This also gives me an opportunity for you to show me their usual routine and what care will be required.
I also provide dog walking services on their own or in addition to a check-in wellness visit or stay. I can usually accommodate longer stays if needed, but at the moment I cannot offer my services overnight.
Please do send me a message if you need care for your pet, whether it be a quick visit for food/water/toilet break/medication or a longer stay for play and exercise. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Xx
