Gustavo Pinha and Ileana Ramirez, two local entrepreneurs with a passion for pets, are pleased to announce the launch of their new pet food and supply business, Pet Wants Weston.

Pet Wants’ specially-crafted, private label pet food formulas are made in small batches with fresh, natural ingredients enhanced with vitamins and minerals for a complete and balanced diet in every bowl. Pet Wants Weston offers multiple blends of dog and cat food formulas as well as healing salve, calming balm, anti-itch spray, paw wax and more. The Pet Wants Weston boutique at 1720 Main Street, Weston, Florida, will open in April, but their mobile service, which is available now, serves Weston, Coral Springs, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Cooper City, Davie, Sunrise, Plantation, Southwest Ranch and the surrounding areas.

Gustavo and Ileana have two fur babies – a 2-year-old chocolate Labrador named Harley and a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier named Lexie. Gustavo also has a daughter named Lorelai who also shares their passion for animals.

“When we added Harley to our family, we did a lot of research on how we can have Harley and Lexie be a part of our family for many, many years to come. What we found out is that a pet’snutrition is the most important part of a long and healthy life. We tried working with our veterinarian and visited many pet stores, but we couldn’t find a food we were happy with. One day our friends told us about Pet Wants and, as we did our research, we were impressed with ingredients, the mission and the company. We know there are other families out there like us and we are excited to provide them with a better option for pet food and other pet products,”
