They are loyal and affectionate, entertaining and expressive, and a joy to live with. We produce one or two litters of puppies per year, striving to produce quality bird dogs with strong natural abilities and pleasing te

mperaments. Our puppies are raised in the house so they can be carefully observed and socialized with our family. We believe bird dogs must have a strong desire and prey drive, focused on searching for and finding game; a “nose for game” to locate birds when they are present; and a “biddable” temperament, that is, eager to please and easily controlled. Our dogs are rigorously hunted during the bird season and tested in the off season in North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), American Kennel Club (AKC), and United Kennel Club (UKC) field trials. We believe conformation is important, both in the show ring and in the field. Our dogs must meet the FCI standard and be free of hereditary defects (OFA certified). We strive to produce hunting partners with natural hunting, pointing, tracking and retrieving ability; and excellent temperaments.

Facebook took down my post announcing the birth of Ruby's puppies. Apparently their AI thinks it goes against their community standards for selling animals.🤯 I am asking for a review. In the meantime, the news is that Ruby has six little ones, four males and two females. I will try to post photos separately.

We have had a VERY busy week but the most exciting event was the arrival of Ruby's puppies late Tuesday night from 9:30 pm to midnight. She delivered six puppies, four males and two females. The two females are one O/W and one Tricolor. We have two each of O/W and Tricolor males. All are doing great!

Happy Birthday to Nellie!!! Janelle de Pays du Soleil MH is ten years old today. She's getting a little gray and showing her age a bit but she still gets the zoomies and acts more like a puppy than a senior. She's a lover and a sweetheart!

Sunday shenanigans!

Valerie will be with us for another week before heading to her new home in Reno. She is lonely sleeping without her brother and sister but is having fun playing with Mom Ruby and Aunt Tessie. Her new name will be Elly.

Venus and Vincent got surprised when the sprinklers came on this morning but they loved it!

Nellie has kept herself busy lately rearranging logs to her liking. (She's actually hunting lizards.🦎🦎🦎)

We have trained many of our own dogs over the years and specialize in gun dog and hunt test training programs. We also accept clients’ dogs for training along with ours. Our programs concentrate on gun dog training, NAVHDA and AKC/UKC training, and NSTRA.
