🔥💔🦊🌲🦊💔🔥
This young fox was found curled up near a dried up pond bed, in the fire zone.
Exhausted, dehydrated, with some minor burns and irritated lungs from smoke inhalation.
His injuries are being treated, he's hydrated and recieving nebulizer treatments and pain management to make him more comfortable.

But the look of defeat and sadness in his eyes, breaks our hearts.😢💔
It almost like he knows that the forest he calls home, is simply just gone. 🌲🔥🌲
He inhaled his breakfast, and lunch today. A stark improvement from yesterday. But we thought he deserved another chicken thigh at lunch. Seems he'd rather enjoy the quiet and calm to just take a much needed rest.

Send him some extra love today 🦊💔💪🐾
