FRESH RIGHT OFF THE PRESS!!!

We finally got our long awaited order of Common Stables gear just in time for the holidays!

Below is a list of items we have and prices to go with them! ALL QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED! Items are on a frist come first serve basis.

All orders that are placed and paid for by 8pm on Thursday night will be available for pick up on Friday after 12 and Saturday morning!

Mad About Maddie

"Maddie" is available for a full off farm lease. We are looking for the perfect situation for Maddie, ideally would love to see her go to a H/J show home where she will be kept in a lesson and training program with her rider. Maddie would do best with someone who is intermediate or advanced working with a trainer as she is still young and will test her rider. We had Maddie in our lesson program teaching begginer - advanced riders this past summer and she did amazing, however we feel that Maddie would be much happier with her own person as she is very sensitive to aids and gets anxious easily trying to understand different riders. Maddie crossties, loads, stands for vet and farrier, has great ground manners and is utd on her shots. Maddie is currently in front shoes with pads and will need to stay in them as she gets very sore without them. Maddie had a slight suspensory sprain in her right hind last winter but was fully cleared to go back to work by the vet in March and it has not seemed to bother or limit her at all. We cannot say enough good things about this mare. Once she gets to know you, she gives her all. Maddie also LOVES trail riding and will go out alone or in a group. We are offering Summer Programs again this year!

Please join us for our Summer Horsemanship Programs offered July 10-12th and August 14-16!

During these 3 days riders will get to learn and experience new activities and daily farm life! Riding and caring for our equine friends is just a start of the fun that riders will get to enjoy during these 3 packed days!

First camp of the year was a success! The kids took part in learning about barn management, horse care, riding (of course), and had a blast uncovering the secret treasure that was hidden on the property! Along with making delicious cupcakes for the horses to enjoy, and maybe sneaking some frosting for themselves to! Big thank you to all the volunteers that helped this week and hope to see some back for our July camp (post to come soon).

For on farm lease ONLY:

"Hunters Gold Bar" aka Devon 8yr Appaloosa gelding. We are looking for the right person to half lease Devon. Devon is currently schooling 2'6" but once in jumping shape can do 3' with scope for more. He is currently in our lesson program but does better with the same rider consistently. Devon is very talented and knows his job but is very sensitive to his riders and picks his people. He is not a fan of other horses so is not a good fit for the hunter ring and excels in the jumper world. Devon is known to throw a buck here and there when the rider is too heavy on his mouth, or he gets confused on what is being asked. So, we are looking for an intermediate to advanced rider, will be picky for the right fit as we want to see him excel. Opportunity to show is available and highly encouraged!

Ernie 2015 14.1hh gelding. We bought Ernie as a potential lesson horse for our program, but he was greener than we had anticipated. Ernie was in a consistent work schedule last summer with us and was doing fantastic, but unfortunately, we no longer have the time to work with him, so he has been sitting all winter. He is the sweetest boy on the ground but does get very anxious under saddle as he is still learning to have a rider on him and gets very forward when you put leg on him. He stands perfect on cross ties, loads well, stands for the farrier/vet and bathing. Ernie is barefoot, and UTD on everything. Ernie needs a trainer or advanced rider to bring him further along under saddle. Ernie does well in a group turnout setting, or by himself. Small family owned farm in Sutton, MA has 1 12x12 full board or training board stall available! Stall includes Purina grain fed twice daily, hay fed 3x daily, turn in and out, stall cleaning, turnout cleaning, blanketing, fly spraying, access to our new 180x80 lighted outdoor arena with all weather footing, round pen access, and access to our 2 on-site trainers that specialize in re-starting young horses and horses with behavioral issues! As it may come to no suprise to those of you that know Kendra, I am so happy to announce that she and her fiancé made the decision to make Maddie apart of their family today. All of Kendra's hard work and effort has shown in this mare, and it has been a pleasure watching these two grow together. I am so excited to see what the future holds for them. The Common Stables ISO a Mass licensed instructor to join our growing farm. Looking for someone that is comfortable and has the skills to teach riders of all levels and abilities.
