Tis the season for cozy socks, snuggly blankets, soups, stews and chili.
One of my favorite chilies is Italian White Bean and Chicken Chili, although I add pintos 😬

Just in time for the snow to fly, I will have quarts of chili available for delivery.

Your order includes a quart of chili with a chunk of Parmesan for you to grate on top, and a half skillet of cornbread with some whipped honey butter on the side for $24

In the meantime we will be going mobile! Get all your favorites from savory to sweet, with soups, breads, farm fresh eggs and local milk available to choose from.
All delivered right to your door.

What a fun day at the cafe!!!
We met so many cool cats from all over. The support has been overwhelming and we are humbled. Thank you 😻

By request we will be serving Biscuits and gravy tomorrow. Sunday.
These are big, fluffy Creole style biscuits slathered in Irish butter. A little crispy around the edges… mmm, so good.
Fantastic with even more butter and local jam or also local, sausage gravy.

Also by request, Mulligatawny Soup. This is an Indian inspired soup with a chicken and rice base, and curry. We like it spicy, so lots of curry. Come with a side of Naan for dipping. Add a Stupid salad for a perfect lunch.

What an amazing week we’ve had here at the Flat Cat.
Sindo’s been holding down the cafe while I’ve been working on my first catering events. So much fun and so much love at both events. 😻

This Saturday the 5th, is the Fall Festival here in Sutton. Lots going on Downtown and at SSutton Farmers Marketand lots of yummy stuff available to grub on including here at the FFlat Cat Cafe

I’ve got Vanilla Bean cupcakes and Ice cream this week so I thought I’d share what you are eating.
This weeks sweet treats are made with Virunga Congo vanilla beans extracted in Rain Vodka for 17 months.
So far this has been my favorite extract I’ve made. I think maybe vanilla cupcakes and ice cream should be a weekly thing to compare the differences in Vanilla.
