I'm so obsessed with how smart she is.
I actually broke my own golden rule because I was excited about how good she was doing 🤣 I'm a big believer of not pushing your dog too fast and taking this at a slow pace.
We spent 3 days working on just the first ring, then a full day working on 2 rings. Today we introduced 3 rings and she was doing so well I jumped the gun and decided to let her try all five. BUT she did absolutely amazing😍
The correct answer would have been to continue to slowly work her up until we eventually got to all 5 rings, but I got too excited🤣
Look at her go!! Melancholy just stacked TWO rings on the Rock-A-Stack like a little superstar!
She’s still working her way up to all five, but the progress she’s making is so exciting to watch. Skills like this are such a fun way to boost confidence, coordination, and teamwork—and she’s loving every second of it!

Meet MAD Foster, Bishop located in NC.
She is 4 months old
When your new foster mom works from home and you wanted to eat your bully stick with her.
Bishop is the sweetest girl. She has really settled in today. She is definitely human obsessed. She will do just about anything for some food. She's doing well with being house broken as long as you keep up with a bathroom schedule. She is working on crate training and does best when you tire out this puppy mal brain out before hand! She has the biggest paws and romps around all day with some toys.

Teaching our SDiT to clean up her toys
Melancholy has gotten SO much better at this task since we first started. But she still struggles with wanting to play with the toys while training🤣 Which is fair, she's repeatedly grabbing toys and it's very tempting to play with them while interacting with them, this task requires alot of impulse control on her end and she's doing amazing with her progress💙
So why are we teaching her this skill? For one, the dogs have unlimited acess to their toy drawer - they use the string tied to the handles to pull the drawer open and help themselves throughout the day. which means every night I have to go around the house and collect all the toys and put them back in the drawer so that the next day they can inevitably take them all out again🤣 I would love for Melancholy to be able to assist in that task.
But another reason why we are teaching this is because it's a transferable skill! Once she understands this task wholeheartedly we'll then work on teaching her to pick up clothes off the floor and place them in a laundry basket!
