Introducing Cashier Melancholy 🤣

I got this Melissa & Doug Grocery Store play set on FB Marketplace (for free😍) and gave it a makeover! I did my best to match the colors from the newly remodeled Oma's Pride website and used my cricut machine to add the logos.

She now goes to work with her regularly and is rocking her public access training with zero issues. We're so proud of how far she’s come—Paris is well on her way to becoming a fully trained service dog!

We enjoyed a much needed training meet up with a few friends recently.

Murphy was recently reintroduced to training inside pet friendly stores and because its been a long time since her last store visit we realized she was experiencing alot of stress and anxiety inside store environments. Which ofcourse means we'll now be going out of our way to bring her to stores🤣

But for good reason - instead of accepting that stores cause stress and avoiding them, we're taking the opertunity to work through it and build a positive association with those environments!

This photo was taken outside of a Home Depot and we actually got Murphy happily playing with her K9 Ops ball and engaging while inside the store🎉

Play is a great way to see just how comfortable your dog is in a certain environment - an uncomfortable dog won't engage in play. And just like with treats, you have to find what toy is high value for your pup, and for Murphy that will always be K9 Ops💙
