These 10 cute puppies were found dumped on the side of Ashley Wilson near the tracks this morning. Any information on whoever dumped them would be appreciated. After fielding request for them today we only have 3 females left needing new homes. Let's get these babies out of the pound and why you are there take a look at our other dogs to see if one them would be a fit for your family.

Our city’s animal shelter is completely full. Without your help, these animals will not find a forever home. These dogs and cat are being house in outdoor kennels, and with the summer heat coming, we need to get them out!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!
Due to multiple after hours calls going to the phone number listed for the Friends of Sweeny Impound Animals, we have changed the contact number to the police department. Any calls in regards to loose animals around town need to be called to the PD who will inturn contact the ACO. The number that was on this page was intended for people to call about dogs in the pound. Thank you for your understanding

We hate to ask but the pound is full of large grown dogs and we need help with dog food. Pedigree or Purina brand preferred. If you can find it in your heart to donate some food or even better adopt a 4 legged family member, we would really appreciate it.

We want to give a huge THANK YOU, to Dr. Zajicek at Marsh Vet Clinic for fixing Cherrie girl's eye. She is such a happy, loving dog now that her eye is now longer bothering her. Dr. Zajieck thank you for your kindness and compassion towards the animals and for donating the surgery to fix this pretty girl's eye.

We would like to thank everyone who volunteered, bought a meal ticket, participated in the silent auction and the live auction at the fundraiser yesterday. Thanks to each and everyone of you, we are one step closer to getting a new shelter for the animals. A huge thanks goes out to Leigh Ann Thornton and Real Take A Chance for putting their hearts and soul into planning this amazing event. The ACO, Rodger Larsen and I over the years have given our time and money to these dogs out of love for the animals and it touched our hearts to see such a huge turn out and support. If anybody would ever like to come out and see the dogs, please reach out to Rodger and he will make arrangements for you to do so. If you could find it in your heart to give one a home, even if just as a foster, reach out also and we will make it happen (there are rescue groups out there willing to help the dogs but there is a lack of foster homes for them). Once again THANK YOU to everyone who supported the animals in anyway yesterday.

UODATE ALL DOGS ARE TAKEN CARE OF!!!! WE NEED HELP! Even with the tarps up and heaters going these 9 dogs are cold, we need to find somewhere for them to go for the next few days. We had 11 dogs but 2 are already in foster for the cold weather. Please help us out and give these dogs somewhere warm to be for a few days.
