This is going to be a blunt and as transparent as can be, a post that many won’t like but everyone needs to hear.

This is Fredrick and he came to us last week when he was left abandoned by someone. The woman who found him called and reached out to MULTIPLE places and was told no before sending an email to us. Even though we are overwhelmed and underfunded we stepped in to help. Fredrick has a condition that is painful and needs to be surgically corrected. It is 100% curable but the surgery must correct it. The surgery however is expensive. 6k to be exact. This is far too much money for our organization to cover entirely at this time as we are struggling with the massive amounts of animals we have had surrendered the past few months. We did a fundraiser last week and we raised $800 out of 6k and we as the rescue can not over the rest of this bill. Fredrick goes Wednesday for another consultation and at this time we will need to make the decision to treat or euthanize. He is such a happy and loving boy! He has so much life left and adores everyone and everything. To have to euthanize this boy because of funding literally is the reason so many directors of animal shelters loose the battle with their mental health. We hate making these decisions and having it all rest in our hands. Fredrick’s life is at stake and we really need help with this one. Even if we can raise half of the cost we will then cover the rest so I beg please if you can help us save him we will be so incredibly grateful!

Please spread the word! Xavier was LOST on October 13, 2023 in Central Square, NY 13036 near Wilson road and shanty creek road

Message from Owner: Many people have been asking for updates. Here is the latest information

After 38 hours of looking and over 17 miles walked, for Xavier this is what we have come to with FACTS .

This map shows where everything has "happened"

Blue circle is my hse.
Xavier and Charlie were BOTH seen on a ring camera on a ladies back porch at 8:12 am ( which is marked red ) she showed me the video, they walked off her back porch seconds after 8:13 am went down her driveway towards wilson road. Shortly after 8:14 am a loud and very very close gun shot went off. There was about 65 seconds between them leaving the porch and the gun shot.

A neighbor across the street said he also heard the "loud bang" and when he looked out his window he only seen my yellow lab standing in the road looking up wilson road towards route 11. And started walking down Wilson road towards shanty creek. He did not see Xavier around.

The yellow mark on the map is a neighbor that states he seen my yellow lab with Xavier following shortly behind walking down the road towards . (But no camera proof, so idk)

Charlie ( my yellow lab) came at approximately 8:22 am Charlie returned with no sign of Xavier.

Police have been contacted. Please continue to look for him.

Unfortunately, I'm fearing the worst.
But maybe just maybe he got picked up or spooked from the gun shot and ran, and is now lost.

I am offering a cash reward. Please if anyone in the area has cameras please check Friday morning between 8:13 am and on. Please.
