Its baby snapping turtle season! From September-October, baby snappers are hatching and looking for their new homes. If you find a turtle in a safe place, it is best left alone. If it is in an area which may not be safe for the turtle, (using caution, especially with roadways) move it in the direction that it was going or to a close body of water. Thanks for being a friend to wildlife!

Blog Update! LiveJournal flagged us because we “exists primarily to post advertising content.” Then demanded money, $15/year. Wordpress is $12/year and they have web hosting. Still researching potential other blog sites as well so stay tuned!
