On Thursday, August 25, we said goodbye to our precious Gandalf. He fought hard, but the cancer won. He was the sweetest soul. Words fail me through the tears. I fell in love with him the moment I saw the scared little creature at the Humane Society all those years ago. He truly was my soul dog. And he will occupy a large place in our hearts forever.
