Happy Sunday my friends!! I hope everyone’s had a blessed Sunday!!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update!

I’m currently booking March 12-15 for big dogs! Which I have very few big/medium appointments that week!
I have a few smaller dog appointments between March 4-8th and then March 12-15.

I strongly encourage everyone to make appointments at pick up or drop off to guarantee you a spot for the next grooming! My books fill up super fast and I hate disappointing my clients when I can’t fit them in.

Easter will be here before we know it! It’s the end of March this year! So please make sure you are making those appointments now if you want your fur baby smelling & looking good before Easter!

I also want to add that at this time that I’m not able to accept anymore big dogs. I absolutely hate not being able to accommodate everyone but those who have been established clients of mine since opening almost two years ago are having a hard time getting in because I have so many. I want to make it fair for everyone who’s been faithful to me.

Spring is coming… and with that being said I have a waiting list going for dogs I have not seen see in 6-12 months time. I will try my best to get everyone in but there’s no guarantee there’s a spot open for you.

I’m fine … really I’m fine… today has been the most mondayest Tuesday ever!!
Power was out for over two hours today which set me back majorly!! I’m so thankful for clients who understood!!

If I have no responded to your message please know I’m not ignoring you! My inbox was FULL with messages from Sunday and Monday… I’m trying my very best to get everyone in in a timely manner but please remember it’s just me that grooms and handles everything in my little business!

Hey friends!!!! I’m just hoping on here quick to give a little update on my current scheduling!!

The snow last week has done a doozy on my scheduling!! I had to reschedule almost every appointment I had last week bc our road wasn’t safe to travel on! With that being said the next few weeks will be super crazy busy and I’m trying my very best to get everyone in and done in a timely manner!!
I try to keep up with messages the best I possibly can! It may take me a little longer to respond to some simply bc I have so many messages to respond to! It may take a day or two to get back to some messages and I’m so sorry about that!
If I don’t have my scheduling book near me or ok in the middle of grooming I won’t open a message until I am able to look at my book!

I’m currently booking into the second week & 3rd week of February! (I have very limited big dog spots left for the whole month of February!)

I’ve had a lot of new clients contact me for appointments which is simply amazing and I’m so thankful for everyone who refers me!

Thank you all so very much for all the love & support! I couldn’t do this without y’all!!

Ps please remember that I am a one woman show! I do all the scheduling, messaging, bathing, grooming, taking dogs in & out etc! All along being a momma and a wife! Crazy how 2023 has come to an end already!!! We have been blessed beyond measures this year! I couldn’t do this without my faithful support system!!

I’m slowly working on everyone’s appointments for next year! It’s very time consuming so please bear with me! If you are wanting preexisting appointments for the year please shoot me a text!! (And if I don’t reply right away it means I don’t have my book on me!)

Today I wrapped up the busiest week of the year!! I did way more than I should have but I always try my best to get all my regular clients in during the holiday rush!

I can’t help but feel blessed beyond measures! I never thought I could achieve what I’m achieving in such a short amount of time! God has been so good to us this year. I can’t thank my family and friends enough for all the support through it all!
God has big things planned for 2024 and I can’t wait!

I’ll be taking off a few days to enjoy my family for Christmas!! I’ll be returning phone calls, text and Facebook messages on Wednesday morning!!

I’m trying to get ahead… well maybe 😜😝a ton of clients want pre booked appointments for the whole year & I finally got my 2024 book in (which I’m not sure I like it or not 🙃)
If you’re wanting pre booked appointments please shoot me a starting date with however many weeks out you want booked! Some do every week some do every 2,3,4,6 or 8 weeks!
This truly helps especially around the holiday times! Being pre booked guarantees you a spot each holiday!! 🥰

🎄🎅🏼🤶🏻Good afternoon my furry and non furry friends!!
🎄Just giving an update on grooming appointments are filling up and very limited! As I will be doing more one on one grooming. I usually don’t have more than 2-3 dogs here at a time anyways but I’m doing my best to make sure everyone is being protected to my best ability!

🎄🎄As many know kennel cough is something that goes around all the time but during the holiday season it seems to increase as many dogs are traveling to different states, boarding and or spending the day at daycares. (As every puppy should be able to run and play with their friends!)

🎄🎄🎄With this being said I am trying my best to make sure everyone stays safe! As always I make sure everyone is completely up to date on ALL their vaccines including the bordetella! Bordetella helps protect against kennel cough. Kennel cough typically takes 7-10 days before they start showing symptoms. And I promise clean like a mad woman in between every dog I do!
Dogs are also always in their own kennels. They never go nose to nose with each other!

🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄I will say that even with being completely vaccinated there’s always is a chance that your dog can still get kennel cough. 🥺 Just like humans and being vaccinated against the flu/covid etc you still run the risk of getting sick when in an area with lots of others (human and or animals)

🎅🏼🧑🏻‍🎄So if your dog has been to a daycare, a boarding facilities or has traveled to other states lately please let me know so I can make sure I can make an appointment accordingly!

We are back from our vacation 🙌🏻 I never missed home as much as I did this time! We made lots of special memories but this vacation was one for the books🤪

Now I’m in complete holiday mode!

While I was away I didn’t have cell service so I’m trying respond to 20+ messages regarding grooming appointments!!

Happy Monday friends!!! Coming once again to remind you if you haven’t made an appointment for your beloved furry family member please do ASAP!! I am trying my very best to squeeze everyone in between now and November 8th! I have 17 working days between now and then & most of those days are already filled! If you have a big dog please please please text me asap! I do not have many big dog spots left between now and when we leave for vacation!
I will not be available for 10 days my friends! And when we get back I have three days to get as many dogs as possible done before Thanksgiving! The three days before thanksgiving are already booked! I have a waiting list for that week so if you are already on my schedule for that week and aren’t able to make it please let me know so I can fill that spot!

And please remember, I am one person doing all the work from start to finish! I do on average 8-10 dogs a day currently! I am human and I can only do so many dogs in one day while trying to be a momma and a wife!

Ok life around here is fixing to get crazy busy!! Wait it’s always crazy around here!! 🤪🫠 (I wouldn’t have it any other way!)
The first week (next week) of October is completely booked and going into the second week of October i only have a few spots left open for smaller dogs. My big dog spots fill up the fastest so please if you’ve got a big dog please text me asap!
The end of October I’ll be having an mri done on my knee that I injured a couple months ago. Im praying there’s no major damage done but if there is we will cross that bridge then!
The beginning of November will be just as crazy with follow up appointments, my little girl’s birthday and her party! Then November 9-19 I will NOT be available! I’ll be with family the whole 10 days!!
So that brings us to the week of Thanksgiving! Appointments for that week are very limited. I only have maybe 2-3 spots left open for Nov 20,21, and 22nd. So please contact me asap if you are needing in those days! Christmas week is starting to get full as well! So please make your appointments asap!

I don’t plan on taking anymore time off till after the 1st of the new year but God always has a funny sense of humor when it comes to life😅 so these are my plans.. which aren’t always Gods plans!

If anyone is needing just a bath on their short haired pups!! This is such a good service they provide for our community!!

First and Foremost I want to thank every single one of you for being such amazing customers and allowing Barkery Tails to be part of you and your furbabies lives! I've made such amazing friends over the past 4 years!

When I opened the self serve groom room in June 22'..... I had not a clue what I was doing! I was so excited to bring self serve to Morristown and wanted to do it in a different way than I had ever seen done. By providing many products that professional groomers use and we now have over 25 products available for use in our groom room!

Our original price point was truly a 'shot in the dark' with no way of knowing what actual operating costs would be. We have maintained the same prices since its conception but with the price of everything going up so has our operating cost. Therefore as of September 1st, 2023, our self serve groom room prices will be as posted below. We have been able to bring in several upgrades over the past year and half. And, this will allow us to hopefully continue upgrading as we go!

Until September 1st you can still benefit from our original prices and all pre-purchased bath passes will be honored.

Good morning friends!!! Yes, yes it’s Monday!!
Crazy school here in East Tennessee starts next week!! Me personally am excited to get my husband back on a “normal” schedule!
Just trying to throw some ideas around for all my teacher clients who have needed Saturday appointments when school is in!
My Saturdays will be extremely limited until late fall because our girls busy cheer schedule!
Going back and forth on our schedules & work schedules I believe the best day to offer my teacher friends would be WEDNESDAY!! You can drop off your fur babies early morning before school and pick ups would be when you get off in the afternoon!
If I can have everyone picked up by 430pm on a Wednesday that would allow us to have plenty of time to get dinner made and ready for church Wednesday evenings!

🐶🐶Happy Monday my friends!!! 🐶🐶

As the summer feels like it’s just started it’s almost come to an “end” for all my teacher friends! So my teacher friends please reach out to me for grooming appointments before my days get too full!! When school starts we will have to figure out a good schedule for everyone!
My girl starts cheer today July 10th! So my evenings will be filled with cheer and gymnastics! So please make sure you set up those appointments!!
Summers are busy with making family memories and just life being busy… but I beg you to please keep track of when your appointments are! I’ve had some no shows over the last few weeks. With no shows I usually don’t know until the day of & I can’t get someone in your place because of such short notice! Meaning I loose money that day and this is my livelihood to support my family.
I have people on a waiting list usually 5-6 deep and not everyone’s able to move their work schedules around to fill those empty spots so once again I’m out money. Most groomers charge a no show fee and I do not want to do that because I try to be understanding of crazy schedules but there has to be a line somewhere! If you miss an appointment it may be 2-3 weeks before I can squeeze you in somewhere. So please make sure you write your appointment down where you can remember!
I’m currently booking the week of July 17th with only a few spots left!

So please remember when you appointments are and let me know at least 24 hours before your appointment that you can’t make it! And please no late night text because once again I can’t text someone super late the night before!

🐶🐶As many of my clients know my sweet girl will be starting cheer in July!! A fun and exciting journey but those are know anything about cheer/gymnastics it’s a crazy busy schedule!!
🐶🐶🐶With that being said with practices and football games I will have very limited spots available on Saturdays.
🐶🐶🐶Evening hours will be on hold for the time being as well. If you are one of my normal evening clients please shoot me a text & we will talk about scheduling!!

•Doodles are not guaranteed to be non-shedding

•Doodles are a high energy dog combination. Do not own expecting a lazy lap dog. They require physical exercise and mental stimulation. Poodles are one of the most intelligent dog breeds in the world.
•Looking for a non-shedding dog to avoid any allergy reactions? Adopt a purebred poodle, not a doodle.
•Doodles are more likely to love water and being wet due to their webbed feet inherited from their poodle genes.
•Doodles are prone to ear infections due to the fur growing in their ear canals. This means more care, maintenance, and expenses.
•It is important doodles eat a high quality dog food to keep their thick coats healthy.

Due to the growing popularity of this breed combination, these dogs have been found more commonly at puppy mills. If you think a doodle is still the dog for you, consider adopting from a rescue or shelter.

🐶🐶I have a few people on a waiting list for next week so please if you aren’t able to make your appointment please let me know at least 24 hours before so I can bring someone who’s on the wait list!!
🐶I try my very best to work with everyone’s schedules so please understand how important it is to let me know if you aren’t able to make it!
I have a lot of people that like to have standing 4,5,6, or 8 week out appointments! Which I always advise to do! My days fill up super fast! I am a one woman show so I can only take on so many dogs each day. Plus, I like to only have 4-5 dogs here at a time. I have a lot of sibling pairs that come so my days book up quickly!!
🐶🐶 Lastly, I want to make sure that everyone knows I DO require all vaccines to be done! Including the bordetella which helps protect against kennel cough! So please make sure your babies are up to date before making your appointments!

Hey doggie friends!!! Here’s yet another vaccine clinic coming up!!!
Please please get your fur babies vaccinated!!!
I DO require everyone to be completely vaccinated including the bordetella! It helps protect against kennel cough!!

We are thrilled to welcome Claws and Paws for a low cost vaccine clinic at our facility on July 1st from 10-1. Please make sure all dogs are on leashes and all cats are in carriers!! Spread the word and take advantage of this low cost opportunity!! CASH ONLY and no appointment needed!! Perfect opportunity to get those dogs and cats microchipped before fireworks!

Sharing because it’s SO important to get your furry family members vaccinated!!
I DO require all vaccinations to be up to date including the bordetella! And for those who don’t understand why I require the bordetella especially is it helps protect against kennel cough! Kennel cough is highly contagious!! I do everything in my power to keep all my clients dogs & my own dogs protected!
Parvo/distemper are just as important! In my vet tech days I saw way too many precious babies come close or die from getting parvo.🥺
Rabies.. it’s a state law that all animals are current on their rabies vaccines!!
All these vaccines are given yearly!! And by your local veterinary!
Here’s a local clinic that you are able to get your animals fully vaccinated for a lower cost!! I know times are hard for everyone so anything that can help cut cost is great!

I just want to give a heads up on the next coming weeks!! I’ve currently booked the remainder of April and almost booked the first week of May! (I have very few appointments left that week!)
My Saturday appointments are booking up quickly as well! I’m going to start phasing out every Saturday. Saturday and Sundays are the only days my husband is off work so I would love to be able to spend it with my family!
I do offer evening appointments as well but those spots are very limited! I only groom one evening a week!
I try to be as accommodating as possible for everyone so if anyone ever has a question please shoot me a message!!
