Our office is closed to unexpected visitors this week. Our small staff is stretched thin while fosters are traveling, and our focus is still needed on the animals in our care. We also still have our Panleukopenia cats in isolation and don’t want to risk unnecessary exposure.

Our dogs don’t reside at the office, they’re in foster care, but we can make sure that their fosters follow up with you.

For cats, once you’ve submitted the app, our Cat Coordinator will reach out to schedule you to come by the office and meet cats, or coordinate with our fosters to bring them by the office to have them available for you to visit. Each cat on our website lists where they currently reside, whether it’s our office, a foster home, or Tally Cat Cafe

It’s a great time to be part of the Bumi Nation. 😍 Our King’s beverage, Bumi’s First Brew, is available at Ology Brewing locations in Tallahassee for a limited time. The Wildlife Center will also have His Majesty’s brew for sale during community events. 🍺 We will soon have a limited number of can art collectibles for sale online, and long-awaited Bumi shirts! The best part: all proceeds support a new giant anteater habitat, which we hope to break ground on in the next few months! ⭐️ Big thanks to our friends at Ology Brewing Company for this awesome partnership!

Can you please share this? I’m afraid the owners won’t follow the traditional lost pet pages and I’m not on any of the Hispanic pages. It was found at the enterprise car sales at 5761 w. Tennessee st on 6/14 across from Chile & Chili’s - good chance it came out of the neighborhood behind the food truck. Thanks!

Hey there, Mac Shack fam,

It’s been quite a while since our truck hit the road—years, to be exact. Throughout our journey, we’ve held onto this piece of our history, watching it grow alongside us here in Tallahassee. And now, we’re excited to bring it back for a special afternoon as we rally behind our friends of . Their Railroad Square location was devastated by the recent tornadoes that swept through Tallahassee a few weeks back.

In an effort to aid in the rebuilding process, we’re stepping up. This Sunday, June 9th, 2024, we’ll be serving up 150 Macs straight from the food truck. Every penny earned, along with any additional donations, will go directly to our friends at . Let’s come together and make a difference.
