T made us so proud by going WB/BOW/BOB this afternoon for her first ASCA points - a 3 pt major! Thank you tk Senior Breeder Judge Ann DeChant for finding my girl and all the kind words. And many thanks to her breeder, Kirsten Tardiff (Echolight Australian Shepherds) for trusting me with this little firecracker.

T played in 2 UKC shows today. She won her CH class under Richard Klatt in show 2 and won her class and BOB in show 2 under judge Kimberly Caines.

Two solid official FastCAT runs and two qualifying runs to earn her ATT today for TMoney. Good girl!

T did her first FastCAT fun run today and crushed it in 8.2 seconds (25 mph). Gonna let her do a couple of real runs tomorrow and start earning points towards another title. I love how versatile this girl is and how she just jumps in and does anything with confidence. Good girl, Lil T!

Today we noticed Grimm (Gemfire’s Deal Me A Dragon @ Firefly) is sitting at #4 in the ASCA Rally Excellent Merit rankings! What a pleasant surprise! Good boy Grimmy!

We had a great Saturday at the Great Smoky Mountain Dog Club’s UKC show this weekend. Twerk (Echolight Drop It Like It’s Hot @ Firefly) became a UKC CH after winning her class in show 1. She went on to win the Breed and a Group 2 behind MAS Edge (Flawlessly City Of Blinding Lights) who was RBIS! In Show 2, T repeated her success by winning her class and BOB. She is my first CH and I’m so proud of her! Many thanks to Kirsten Tardiff at Echolight Australian Shepherds for trusting me with T and congrats to Edge’s co-owners and breeder Stacey N Hayes and Billy Huntington. We love Edge so much! Best of luck to Edge as he heads off to MAS nationals!

It’s officially official. Twerducken’s ASCA RN and RNX came in the mail today. Grimmy also received his RA and RAX but he was unavailable for photos due to his busy napping schedule. Good pups!

Day 2 of our 2022 USASA National Specialty is in the books. Grimm earned a respectable 98/100 in excellent, his second leg towards his excellent title, a 96/100 on Advanced, and his first QQ towards earning his RAE. Not to be outdo e, Twerk showed up amd showed out in Rally Intermediate with a 98/100, second place, and her second leg towards her RI title. Thanks to Judge Pat Pierce for fun courses. Firefly Aussies is looking forward to more Rally-O tomorrow!

We are so proud of Grimm! We got our United States Australian Shepherd Association Journal today and Grimm landed in the top 10 dogs for both Rally Novice B and Rally Intermediate! He was 9th in Novice and 5th in intermediate! That’ll do, Grimm. That’ll do.

T brought home THREE new AKC titles today (pending approval, of course). She is now Echolight Drop It Like It’s Hot @ Firefly VHMA RN CGC CGCA TKN at the tender age of 9 months old. We are super proud of her.

Team Firefly had a great time at the FL Pan-Handlers ASC Inc show on Baker, FL this weekend. Grimm was a Rally star earning his RNX, multiple perfect scores, his first Advanced X leg, and 2 High In Trials! He received many compliments and Pat Pierce told me she can’t wait for us to be kicking her butt in the Masters Ring at Nationals (what a compliment!)! Twerk showed in the 6-9 puppy bitch class and took two firsts and a second out of 4 puppies. She was standing like a pro in Sunday’s show and I was so proud of her. Im so excited for her future. I’m leaving the show site knowing I’m taking home the best dogs and my heart is so full. That’ll do, puppers. That’ll do.

What a day! In Trial 1, Grimm earned a 197/299 under Judge Elaine LeRoy and his first Rally Novice X leg. In Trial 2 under Judge Pat Pierce, he earned a 199/200 (I lost a point for a tight leash somewhere) For HIT determination we had a score of 200. But so did another dog. In that situation, a new course is made and there is a run-off. We both scored 200. In *that* situation, the fastest time wins. The difference in our times was 0.59 seconds. Grimmy won HIT! I couldn’t believe it!
It was a good freaking day. Now to relax. Zzzzzzzzz
